023: The Downward Spiral

"You need to choose your words carefully, Lana."

10AM

When Lana woke up she saw Billy wasn't in bed.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes while she looked down and saw she was in one of Billy's shirts.
She got out of bed and headed downstairs.

Lana saw that Billy was gone and found it strange but figured he must have ran to get something.

She started the coffee machine and made herself a cup once it was done and did her usual routine as Lana sat on the back patio and had a cigarette.

An hour passed and She saw no sign of Billy and She wondered where he was as she went to change.

3:30PM

Lana worried all day where Billy was.
She had smoked a joint and taken two of her trusty blue pills while She was sitting on the couch, trying to keep busy.
Suddenly, the front door unlocked and She quickly got up seeing Billy walk through the door.

Lana breathed out in relief.

"Where have you been?"
She asked worriedly and Billy stared over at her strangely.
She suddenly knew something was off and had a sinking feeling in her stomach.

Lana's Billy was gone again.

"Where have you been Billy?"
She asked him once again and he just smiled that eerie smile at Her while Her breathing started to slow.

Lana knew wherever Billy went, he didn't plan on telling Her.

"Do you want me to cook dinner?"
She asked Him then, planning on keeping him happy, not wanting to cause Him to have another one of his episodes or raise suspicion of Her knowing anything.
