Lana stared out across the pool while children splashed about and screamed out happily and at play.
She was so relieved she had freed Billy from the clutches of the Mindflayer and finally had him back. Lana was truly happy again. But She knew danger still loomed, something evil hung in the air. It clung there like smoke.
She had zoned out until a voice cut through her thoughts.
"It's break time for you, Princess."
Lana stared down through her heart shaped glasses and saw her boyfriend staring up at her smirking.
All eyes were on them.
She just smiled at Him and started to climb down.
"I could stare at that view all day." Billy said lowly so only they could hear.
"Yeah, I bet you could." Lana replied sarcastically and He laughed.
It was just like nothing had happened. It was just like old times.
"You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life." Billy murmured, leaning in to where he was inches apart. He looked Lana up and down and chuckled a bit as he started to climb the ladder.
She just turned back once more to watch Billy and he flashed her a smile. Lana just chuckled to herself and headed to the locker room to grab her smokes and head to her car.
