022: Save Your Tears

"Lana, What's happening to me?"

Luckily Billy had been asleep when Lana had gotten home last night.
She put ointment on her knuckles and wrapped them then swallowing three Valium's.
She quietly headed into the bedroom, changing out of her clothes and putting them in the dirty hamper.
She got into bed in only her bra and panties as she closed her eyes, hoping to fall into a nightmare free slumber.

11:30AM

Lana woke up and heard Billy downstairs in the kitchen.
She yawned a little, sitting up.
She was beyond relieved to have had a dreamless sleep.
Lana leaned over and took a sip of the glass of water on the nightstand.
She proceeded to get out of bed, grabbing her white satin robe that came to her upper thigh, wrapping it around her and tying it.
She descended the stairs and Billy peeked his head around the kitchen corner.
Lana wasn't sure what Billy she was going to get today.

"Coffee?"
He asked and She nodded groggily.
He chuckled at her.

"Coming up."
Billy called to her.

"I'm going to sit out on the back patio."
Lana called to him as she headed to the sliding doors.
She opened them and stepped into the slight breeze, breathing in the fresh air.

She sat at the table and pulled out a cigarette from her pack, lighting it and then inhaling.

Minutes later, the door slid open as Billy stepped out with two cups, One in each hand.
He handed one to Lana.

"Thank you."
She said quietly and He nodded.
He took a seat.

"You sleep good?"
Billy asked and Lana simply nodded.
She took a sip of her coffee.
