Lana and Billy had rung in the New Year together at home, cozied up on the couch.
It was nothing short of magical though.
They had each other, and that's all they needed.

Lana thought she couldn't get any bigger during the pregnancy, but alas, here she was.
At Seven months pregnant She could barely walk, let alone see over her stomach.
Her feet had become swollen, She could never get comfortable and hot flashes were a daily thing for her now.
Billy tried to take care of her as best as he could, wishing he could take away the strain and pain Lana had to endure but she remained so strong through it all.
He knew she suffered but she didn't want him or anyone else to suffer with her.
Lana was selfless to the end.
And Billy knew she was stronger than him, than anyone he would ever come across in his lifetime.
He had an immense reverence for her, and that would never change.

Lana came through the front door and closed it, breathing heavily.
She had been at Joyce's catching up and chatting.
She put her car keys on the kitchen counter and noticed Billy standing by the stairs watching her intently.
