055: Afterglow

"Lana, What is happening?"

Third Day- Close To Sunset

Sadly, Lana was sick most of the day but Billy honestly didn't mind one bit.
He was with the love of his life one way or the other.
Billy hated that Lana was sick, but after she slept it off she was good as new.
Lana got food in her system and loaded up on fluids then proceeded to get dressed for the evening.
Billy was already dressed.

The sun was starting to set as the sky started to slowly turn a reddish orange.
It was a magnificent sight.
Billy patiently waited for Lana to finish getting ready.
He had already downed five shots of Jack Daniels, going to pour himself another when he heard Lana descending the glass stairs.
Billy swallowed his shot and placed his glass on the bar, standing up from his seat.
He had a nice buzz going on.

Lana sauntered into the Living room/ Bar area where Billy stood in the middle admiring her.
She had her hair in a messy bun, some wavy curls hung down framing her face somehow perfectly.
He glanced down at her baby bump and felt that immense surge of love embrace him.

"You look stunning as always babe."
Billy said lowly.
Lana just smiled widely at him and went to embrace him.

"Let's just enjoy each other's company and the beach tonight hmm?"
He asked Her and she agreed, pulling from the embrace.

"That sounds perfect to me."

They walked across the sand until they found a place of their own.
They sat down in unison.
Billy found Lana's hand and she rested her head on his shoulder while they stared out at the ocean.

The waves softly lapped up to the shore, soon returning back to the sea.
They soon found themselves feeling as if they were in a dream.
As if nothing were real.
They both immediately glanced at each, still holding hands.
