One Week Later
Jim and Joyce constantly came over to Lana's to check up on her.
But what left everyone, including Lana in shock was the fact at how quickly she seemed to be healing.
A week had passed and Lana had two black eyes, but they weren't nearly as swollen, only slight bruising underneath both of them. Her lip was still busted but that didn't bother Her much at all. She had bruises covering her body but they didn't concern her much either. From all the damage Lana suffered it was almost as if some sort of superhuman force was causing her to heal quicker. The pain was bearable.
She was still getting sick almost daily and vomiting. All the stress had to be causing it. Lana found chamomile tea and chicken noodle soup helped.
Steve had stayed over for a week now, taking care of Lana. But they both knew that she had to fight back sooner or later.
They knew The Mindflayer would be back and Lana knew more than anything that somehow, She would save Billy.
