Korra slumped down onto her couch, she lifted her hands to her face and started sobbing. She was sad at what seemed to be the loss of her friend and the fact that it was her fault. She had done her best to make amends but something still wasn't right with Kuvira. She no longer seemed fragile and broken. Not that she wanted her to be...but she seemed to go from one extreme to the other. Korra kept letting all the things Kuvira had said about how much her cheating affected her, play over and over in her mind. It was as though she had caused her so much pain, that Kuvira had now walled off her heart and become hardened. These were the consequences of her actions. But she already knew...and that's what made it worse, she knew and she did it anyway. She hated herself right now. She started to think about all the women she's hurt. What about Zhu Li...should she call her? She should. She needs to apologize to her as well. She took advantage of her when she was vulnerable. She found her contact in her phone. Maybe I'll text first.

K- Hey Zhu Li. I was wondering if we could talk sometime soon? Maybe meet somewhere? Let me know.

ZL-Absolutely. Is everything ok? How about the small park next to future Industries. I can meet you on my lunch break.

K-Everything is fine. I'll see you then. Thanks.

I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea.

She had never talked to her after their little tryst. The next day Varrick had returned and Zhu Li seemed to disappear....even at work she was with him working all the time. Which actually was normal for them. Maybe it didn't affect her, maybe it was only sex for her. It would be easier if it was. Then she would have been using Korra just as much as she was using her.

Asami paced around her office trying to focus on some blueprints she was holding. Her mind was with Korra. She knew very well if she really wanted to focus on those blueprints she would have to put them on her desk and completely spread them out. When was Korra going to call...or even text? She kept imagining the worst. She moved to the window in her office and opened it for some fresh air. She stood looking down at the pond in the park, focusing on how still the water looked. She noticed some movement at one of the benches near the pond. The CEO narrowed her eyes trying to see more clearly. Korra? Why is she in this park?Just sitting on the bench? It was almost lunchtime so Asami decided she was going out there. Wait....maybe I should just watch and see what she's doing. She wanted to trust her more than that..but her curiosity got the better of her. It didn't take long for another woman to walk up to Korra. Asami squinted trying to make out who it might be...they were turned away from her view. Zhu Li! It's Zhu Li??!! What the fuck Korra?! She was trying to keep calm as she felt the anger rising in her chest. They were sitting closely on the bench but she couldn't tell if they were touching or not. As she watched she noticed Zhu Li had placed her head on Korra's shoulder while the young intern wrapped her arm around the smaller woman. You have to be fucking kidding me! I'm going to kill her. Like Actually. She felt tears filling her eyes. Someone opened her office door. Asami quickly wiped her eyes as much as she could then turned on her heels to speak to whoever entered. "Kuvira! I'm surprised to see you, I'm so glad you're here. Sit down let's chat." Kuvira closed the door and sat down. "Asami, I just wanted to come and say thank you for all that you've done for me this past week." Kuvira noticed her red eyes. "Well I consider you a friend and a very valuable person to our company.
It looks as though you're feeling better. Is that true?" Asami questioned. "It's remarkable but I am feeling better. I've learned some valuable lessons from this situation." Asami wanted to ask about Korra but didn't want to upset her. "I'm glad. You deserve to be happy." Kuvira saw the blueprints on the desk. "Do you want me to take those? I can look them over so you don't have as much work. I know you're a busy woman. I'll also bring your completed sketches down to the workshop for Varrick. Let me do as much as I can to help you." "Um....yes thank you." Asami was impressed by her willingness to take the initiative and get things done. She was listing off various other tasks that she would complete as she left the office. This was a totally different Kuvira than yesterday. Maybe talking to Korra helped. Korra. Asami ran back to the window but they were gone.
