Asami groaned as she came to consciousness. She had a slight throb in her head as her eyes opened for a moment, her face pressed against warm skin. She didn't want to move, taking in a deep breath, relishing in Korra's scent. She smelled like some type of essential oils. Maybe sage and sweet orange. It was some lotion she used. She realized she was directly on top of her, both of them completely naked. She opened her eyes again as she rubbed the side of Korra's body with her hand and lifted her head. Korra had hickies all over, like Asami had decided to mark every part of her. She smiled and kissed her chest. She lay facing the nightstand, staring at two empty water bottles trying to remember their night. It was fuzzy but she hadn't blacked out. She remembered trying to be quiet when Kya and Lin brought them home and stripping Korra down once they were in the bedroom. The rest was kind of blurry, it seemed as though they had just made love for the whole night. She pushed herself up and off of Korra. Those two bottles of water must have been hers because she had the sudden urge to pee. She lazily got up and shuffled across the room to the bathroom.

Korra rolled over grabbing her pillow, half awake feeling for Asami. Realizing she wasn't there, she sat up and looked around. "Asami?" She called out. Asami walked out of the bathroom. Korra gasped in surprise and started laughing. "Why are you laughing at me?" Asami said with a pout. "Go look in the mirror." Asami turned around and went back into the bathroom. She started laughing as she walked back out. "Maybe you should check yourself out babe." Asami said with a smile. Korra looked down at her body. "What the hell! Were we having a contest or something?" Asami couldn't stop laughing. "Well if we were it looks like I won!" She said with pride. She walked over to the bed and pulled Korra up. "Turn around." She pulled her around so she could see her back. "Holy shit Korra! How did I have time to do this?" Korra ran to the bathroom. "Asami! This is crazy, no more drinking for you." Asami came into the bathroom with some towels. "Let's shower, I want to go have breakfast." Korra just looked at her and smiled. "Ok. I do seem to remember you doing this. You just kept saying "this is mine and this is mine" I can't be mad at that."

They showered and found their way to the kitchen where Kya was cooking. Something about her was different but Korra couldn't decide what. She looked around for her parents. "Good morning Kya, where's my mom?" Kya brought some food to the table and turned to go back to the stove. "She's in bed. She's not feeling well, your dad's been taking good care of her though." Korra's face dropped. "Is....is she ok? What's bothering her?" Kya smiled softly and put her arm around Korra. "She's fine, it seems to just be a cold, could be the flu, can't really tell yet. Don't worry I can stay and help your dad as long as he needs me too." She turned to Asami. "Good morning Asami." She looked back and forth between them. "The real question is how are you two feeling? I'm surprised you're even awake this early, considering you were up all night." They looked at each other, blushing fiercely. "Sorry about that, we didn't mean to keep you up." Lin casually walked into the room. "You weren't keeping us up, we had a marathon night ourselves." Kya shot her an angry look. "Lin!" Lin threw her hands up. "Well, we did." Kya turned back to the stove, a blush across her cheeks. Lin came up behind her wrapping her arms around her waist. She kissed her lightly on the cheek. "I don't see how you could possibly be shy or embarrassed with these two around." Korra thought about Lin's words for a minute. "Hey!" They all laughed and sat down to eat. Korra helped Kya serve the food and made sure she brought Asami some water. Asami had a question for them. "Why were you guys still at the restaurant when we got out of the car?" Kya smiled at Lin then answered. "Well, we were having a long talk while sitting in our car and happened to see you come out. We also saw what looked like a tense interaction you had, so we decided to wait around to make sure you were ok and didn't try driving anywhere." She passed some eggs across to Asami. "Woah! Kya!" She grabbed Kya's hand and looked up at her in surprise then looked over at Lin. "This is beautiful....and expensive." Korra looked at Kya finally realizing that her necklace was also different now. "Lin! You proposed?!" Kya started laughing. "She did, finally, after 30 years. Not that it was super important to me, but of course it's still one hundred percent what I want." Lin was trying to remain stoic but was feeling pretty proud of herself. "Ya, 30 years, that's why I had to do the ring and the necklace." Kya swatted her on the back. "You didn't have to do both." She kissed Lin on the cheek. "But, I'm glad you did." Lin sat back in her seat folding her arms. "Well thanks to that, last night was a marathon night." Korra laughed. "Well, I'm glad we weren't keeping you up. So when's the wedding? I hope we're invited!" Lin and Kya looked at each other and at the same time said, "This coming spring." Kya continued. "And of course you're invited."
