Meredith rushed her breakfast and quickly left the house to catch up with the bus.she had made plans for her first salary.

Get a used car so far I can't can't a new one
And get new shoes.
"Hello ma'am,I'm meredith.i received a phone call from your coffee shop on last week Saturday" red said making sure she smiles pleasantly.
"Miss Harper? Yea sure come in. Nice to meet you, I'm Lora and I own the coffee shop." Lora said. "Incase you're wondering how the shop has a different name from mine,it was passed down to me from my mother but was named after my grandma".
"Wow so it's a family business then?" Red asked
"You can say that,miss Harper" lora replied
"Oh please call me meredith"
"If you say so" lora replied. "The others are gonna be here in five minutes.make sure you get to know them and learn about our policy".while lora was talking, a blonde girl walked in the shop.Red couldn't deny she looked perfect.her blonde hair was neatly brushed and her smile .....oh her smile .
" Hey lora" the blonde girl greeted,kissing lora on both cheeks. "Hi Benny. Hope you had a good night?"
"An eight hour good sleep boss" Benny replied
"Hi" red said hoping they would hear and quit the reunion thing. "Oh I'm so sorry.benny meet meredith. Meredith meet benny.she works here too" lora said
"Hi meredith. Congratulations on your first day in Mandy's coffee shop. I hope you'll enjoy working here.trust me we have the best customers but a few jerks who call themselves humans" Benny said with humour in her voice which made red and lora burst into laughter. "Ok I'll be careful with those ones then" red replied.
" Benny show her how it's done here.be close at all times" lora said. "Yes boss" benny replied. "How about we start with our first customer?". Meredith looked around and saw nobody in the shop except for she and benny. "I'm not sure there's a customer here" red said confused.
"Oh that man from the distance is heading here actually.he gets coffee before going to work." Benny said with confidence. She has been working in Mandy's coffee shop for quite some time and she's also familiar with the customers.
"Hello"
"Hey Daniel! good morning.your usual? Benny asked. "Yes of course" daniel replied
"Ok then. Meredith come over here and make a coffee for daniel" benny said. "Me? I'm not sure I can do that" meredith whispered to benny. "Aww c'mon just try.i will be here with you". "Alright" red replied.moving forward to to where she would prepare the coffee.one could tell it is red's first day at work. Her hands were shaking and when she was handing the coffee to daniel,she couldn't look at him. "Here you go sir" meredith said with her face down.
" You must be new here" daniel said.it was supposed to come out as a question but he has never seen her in the shop before.
" Yes"
" Ok I'm daniel" daniel extended his hand to shake red. "I'm meredith.meredith harper".
" Ok I'll see you around then meredith" daniel said and bid meredith good bye. " Aww I think you just made a coffee and a friend" benny tickled red which made her jump.
"Ok ok benny stop." Red said between laughter "ahh! Benny stop tickling me"
Ahem" lora cleared her throat, signaling benny to stop the childish play.
"Oops sorry" benny apologized realising that she is her work place,quickly adjusting her apron.
"A cup of coffee with sugar please and extra milk".
"Yea okay". Red prepared the customer's coffee on benny's watch. "Here is your coffee ma'am." red said handing the coffee to the person standing over the counter. Red could remember she had seen the person's face before but can't remember where and when. Shaking it off,she handed the coffee to the customer.
"Have a nice day ma'am" benny said. "Hey are you okay?I saw the look on your face when you handed the coffee to that lady."
"No no it's fine.i'm okay.she just looks familiar.thats all." Red said. "I'd like to make coffee for the next customer please"
" Yea sure,go ahead. I see you like making coffee meredith"benny said
"I think so"
