When I wake up, I make a promise to myself that I am going to talk to Gally today. I'm sick of him ignoring me and today is the day that it will end. I get up and look around the glade to try and spot Gally and see him over by a tree chopping it down. His bare chest is covered in sweat making it glimmer in the sun and I have to catch myself from staring too intently. I mean he has good a very good body, I think it's better than Thomas' but there's no way that I'm admitting that to anyone. I go to the kitchen and grab two bottles of water and walk over to Gally. I walk up to him and he turns around, sees it's me and then turns his back to me.

"Hey Gally, I brought you some water." No response, "Have I done something Gally? You have been avoiding me and not speaking to me and I miss you!" I ask him firmly. Tears threaten to fall down my face, but I suck them up not wanting Gally to see how his actions have hurt me.

"Will you hand me that water please?"

"No! Not until you tell me why you are avoiding me!" I start to raise my voice. He turns around and glares at me before relaxing.

"Don't raise your voice at me please Holly," he asks softly, "I'll tell you just can you wait a couple of minutes until I'm finished with this tree?" I nod at him and he goes back to chopping. His back muscles become prominent and I stare and them in awe.

"Do you need a bucket for that drool Bambi?" Gally asks without even turning around to look at me.

"Of course not, I'm not even looking." I lie trying to sound convincing. He turns around and steps up close to me. I look up at him and he stares down intently in my eyes.

"I know you're lying to me and I don't appreciate liars," he says a hint of mischief in his eyes, "I think I will have to punish you for that." That line gives me butterflies and I imagine all the ways I'd like him to punish me. He looks at me and chuckles. "You really should clean out your mind." He says to me. How does he know what's happening in my brain before I do? It's not fair!

"What are you going to do to me?" I ask trying to keep a steady voice and straight face.

"This." He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder, so he has me in a fireman's carry. I shriek and laugh. He starts to run around the glade with me pounding his back and shouting for him to let me down. I realise I have a great view of his ass from here so take a few seconds to admire it before he sets me down in the kitchen.

"I take it you haven't eaten yet have you, Bambi?" I shake my head, "Tut tut does Mr Perfect not take care of the little princess? I guess I'll have to make up for that. What would you like to eat?"

"Surprise me. Make your favourite and I'll split it with you!" I sit up on one of the chairs looking into the kitchen and watch him potter around the kitchen. I missed being with Gally but it's bringing back feelings that I hoped I only had for Thomas. I'm supposed to with Thomas, but I still like another guy. The only trouble is, I don't know who I prefer. I rushed into things with Thomas without working out my feelings for any of the other boys and I regret that. I should have built up great friendships with everybody before choosing a romantic partner. I sit there on the stool for a while lost in my own thoughts until Gally sits a steaming plate of pancakes next to me.
