Hi! I don't normally put my note at the top, but I wanted to let you know that this chapter is a two-parter. I wrote this as one chapter but wanted different music for each part so split it up. This week you get two smaller chapters instead of one long one. Hope that's okay :)

After spending the afternoon running around the glade with Gally and taking a well needed nap, Alby called a gathering for after dinner. Once the announcement was made, Gally's mood fell but I couldn't understand why. His mood perked up again while we were eating, and he was telling me everything that I've missed in the last couple of days. Apparently, Ben was banished for hurting me but i'm not to feel bad as he wasn't himself. After dinner, Gally walked me to the hut where the gathering was taking place. When we got there, I went to take a seat at the back, but Alby ushered me to sit at the front next to him. I look at Gally confused but he just shrugs and walks to the front with me. Everyone chats amongst themselves until Alby stands up and asks everyone to listen to him.
"Good evening gladers. I have asked you here today to talk about our newest and most surprising greenie, the lovely Holly. Now I'm sure that we have all noticed that she isn't our usual greenie and as a result of this, we haven't known quite how to deal with her. As leader I have taken it upon myself, with the input of other keepers, to create some new rules that will impact her and thought I should share them, so you know how to help enforce these rules and keep Holly safe." I look next to me at Gally to see a guilty look on his face, he knew about this, hell, he probably created some of these rules.
Alby continues, "The most important rule is that under no circumstance will Holly ever become a runner. This is to protect her but also us as we don't know why she is here. She may be our way out of here so we can't put her at risk. The second is that she is not to be sent into the woods alone, the woods can be a very dangerous place as seen as the attack on Holly a couple of days ago. Alongside this rule, I have decided that if any glader, boy or girl, has to go into the woods, they need to be accompanied by another glader. This is to ensure as much protection in case we have ourselves another Ben situation."
I look around to see all the boys nodding and agreeing with Alby. However, I disagree, I don't think that the rules are fair, why should being the only girl stop me from doing normal things around the glade. I stand up and walk forward but Gally grabs my wrist stopping me from moving further towards Alby. I turn around and give him a very dirty look before turning my attention back to Alby.
"But Alby I-"
"These rules are not optional Holly and breaking them will have the same consequences as any other rule, a night in the slammer. Meeting adjourned, you may return to your free time." I sit back down and stare at the ground annoyed.
The boys stay sitting until Alby walks out of the hut and they get up in groups and leave, chatting to each other. Gally gets up and starts walking but turns around when he realises that I'm not behind him. He sees my annoyed expression and walks back over and crouches down, so my face is level with his. He lifts my chin up, so my gaze is directed at him and not the floor. If it was any other circumstance, I would find that gesture extremely romantic but not now.
"Are you coming Bambi?" I stare blankly at him. His face falls for a split second then he smiles softly. "Hey, these rules are only to protect you, we had to make new rules for Chuck too so don't feel singled out." I chuckle.
"Great so now I'm being treated like Chuck, a literal child. Feels great." Gally laughs quietly them puts his hand on my cheek and rubs his thumb on my cheek. I smile and look at him.
"You're special Holly, don't forget that. You're going to be the key to getting us out of here. I just know it. Now what do you want to do to make you feel better?"
