Chase Stokes and his girlfriend, Madelyn Cline are in Charleston filming season two of Outer Banks. What happens when something happens to his younger sister, Ellie.
In the morning I woke up after Chase but Maddie was still asleep, she had her head on my shoulder so I was being careful not to wake her. "Good Morning, Els" Chase says gently. "Morning C" I reply. "Good morning guys" Madelyn croaks out tiredly from the other side of me.
We stayed at the beach for about another hour and took the blankets and pillows back to the apartment. We then got changed and Chase suggested going to Ihop for breakfast, so we walked there.
When we arrived at Ihop, we saw Jonas, his wife (Jen), Lilah and Cooper. "Hey guys, we didn't expect to see y'all here" Jonas says, coming towards us. "Heyy Els" Lilah says to me and stands next to me, "hi Li" I reply. We all decide to sit together so it was a big table of 7.
"When do you get your cast off Ellie?" Jen asks me. "I get it off at the end of this week, I think?" I saw unsure, looking towards Maddie. "Yeah, Sunday morning" Maddie confirms. I've met Jen a few times but not as much as Jonas since I see him everyday on set. "We are going out on our boat later this afternoon? Are you guys up for that?" Jonas asks us three. "We would love too" Chase tells him after asking if I wanted to go, which I obviously did. "That's great, we can have a bbq back at our house afterwards" Jen says.
"Wait does that mean you can't go in the ocean, Ellie?" Cooper asks me, referring to my cast. "Nah, I can go in but I have to wrap it up in a plastic bag, it looks stupid but I would rather go swimming" I say laughing. "Well you better stay safe today, I'm keeping a close eye on you" Jonas says joking. He was literally like another father figure in my life. We all laugh and talk until our food comes. After we ate, we left and separated until we would drive to their house later today.
We packed a bag full of towels, swimming costumes and just stuff we would need and got changed before we left to go to the Pate's. I was wearing a cropped vans T-shirt, which was actually Madelyn's, and some denim shorts:

Once we were all changed and got everything ready, it was time to leave to go to the Pate's. It didn't take long to get there, "Hey guys" Cooper says as we get out the car on their driveway, he was playing basketball in their front drive. "Damn, I wish I could play again" I say laughing. "You play basketball?" He asks, I nod. "Yeah but it's hard now with one arm but next week I'll be able too" I tell him. "She's literally the most sporty person I know, Coop" Lilah says as she walks towards us laughing.
We all head inside for a little while before going out on the boat. "You alright bubs?" Mads asks as I sit next to her and rest my head on her shoulder - she called me that often now, it was her new nickname for me. "Yeah, I'm good, this cast is annoying the hell out of me though" I say frustrated. "Only a few days left" Mads replies. "I know exactly how you feel Ellie, I broke my leg last year from skiing and it annoyed me so much" Cooper says. "Aw i love skiing" I say. "We should all go in the winter but right now it's July so boat and beach trips with have to do" Jonas tells us all.
