Chapter 23

Madelyns pov
We have been filming in Barbados for a little over 2 weeks and it's been 3 weeks since the whole engagement and proposal. We were only here for 2 more weeks which was a little sad since it was so beautiful here but we all miss Milo.

Another thing that's been bothering me for the last week was that I've missed my period. Not just by a few days but almost 2 weeks and that never usually happens. It wasn't just that, for the past day or two I've been sick in the mornings and been gaining weight. I haven't told Chase. He didn't even know I was sick because I covered the noise up with the shower. I want to tell him, I do but I don't know how to. I just keep thinking I'm pregnant from the night we did it after Chase proposed. We wanted kids together but I always wanted them after our wedding.

We had a free day today so we were just heading down to the beach with the others. It was only 9am but we are so use to waking up early from early shoots at set. Chase was already out of bed so I walked over to him, "Hi, my love" he says and I smile. "Hi" I say softly and quietly. He wraps his arms around me and I do the same to him but all of a sudden I say, "Chase, let go please" and run to the bathroom to empty my stomach. I sit on the floor and I was sick in the toilet. Chase joins me immediately and he sits behind me. He grabs a hair tie off the counter top and puts my hair into a messy bun. "Hey. Hey. It's all okay" he tells me and strokes my back. It only lasted a couple of minutes but it wasn't nice. I sigh and lean back into Chase. "You didn't tell me you weren't feeling good" he says worried. I don't want to tell him i think I'm pregnant, not yet. "I don't. I'm not sure what came over me. I feel fine now" I say and he furrows his eyebrows, not believing me. "Do you want us to cancel to beach day and just relax here?" He asks but I shake my head. "No. I'm fine babe, I promise. It was probably just because I got out of bed too quickly or something" I say laughing to make it believable.

We ate breakfast and then got ready to go down to the beach. I put on a bikini with one of Chase's T-shirts on top, I felt so insecure and didn't want anyone to be suspicious as to why I was gaining weight if I was pregnant. "You ready to leave?" Chase says popping his head into the bathroom. I nod and hold his hands and we walk down to the beach where we meet the others. A few of the others went into the ocean pretty much as soon as we arrived but I didn't want to because I didn't want to take the T-shirt off. Maybe I was overthinking it all but I don't know. Me, Kiki and Jen were the only ones who didn't go in the water. Kiki wasn't feeling very well and was sick all night and Jen wanted to sunbathe so I also used that excuse. I noticed Kiki was really quiet sitting on her sun lounger so I get off of mine and go join her and sit next to her, she's been like a little sister to me since I first met her the day I found out I got the role of Sarah Cameron since her Dad was a director.

"How you doing, sweet girl?" I ask and she looks up from her phone, looks at me and shrugs. "Not feeling the best, not gonna lie, it's probably because I only had an hour sleep" she says and rests her head on my shoulder. "If you wanna head back to the room for a little while, I'll come with you if you wanna sleep" I say but she shakes her head. "Thanks Maddie. I'll be fine here, I'll probably fall asleep though" she says laughing a little. "What are you watching?" I ask her, seeing her on Netflix on her phone. "Friends, do you wanna watch it with me?" She asks. "I would love to" I say and she turns the volume up on her phone and we begin watch friends. It wasn't long before I realised she was asleep on my shoulder. I soon found myself sleeping too.

"Hey, Maddie? Kiki?" Josh, our director and Kiki's dad says. We both wake up and laugh when we realise we have been asleep for the past 2 hours. I stand up and I was about to walk over to Chase but as soon as I stood up, I fell back down and got dizzy. "Fuck" I say sat on the sand and holding my head, I was too dizzy to stand. "Mads, are you okay?" Chase says and immediately comes over and picks me up. He sits me down on the lounger, "what happened?" He asks worried. "I must've stood up too quickly, I got dizzy and lost balance" I tell him. "Here, have a drink of water" he says and hands me a cold bottle of water, which was nice. He puts his hand on my forehead, "Mads, you're boiling" he says and looks at me. "I know" I say, I was absolutely boiling. "Take this old thing off" he says, pointing to his T-shirt I was wearing. I shake my head, "Nah, I'm alright" I say and he looks at me confused.
