Chase Stokes and his girlfriend, Madelyn Cline are in Charleston filming season two of Outer Banks. What happens when something happens to his younger sister, Ellie.
Madelyns pov "Someone answer me! Who's pregnant" Chase says annoyed. Ellie looks up to me, nervously and I mouth 'it's ok'.
"I am" Ellie says quietly and Chases eyes widen."You're what!? How could you Ellie you're only a teenager" He says annoyed. "Stop Dad, please" Ellie begs, almost crying again. When Chase doesn't stop I know I need to step in and stop it getting worse. "Chase! Drop it, let her explain" I shout at him and he looks sorry and nods. "You're right, I'm sorry" he says to Ellie. "Dad I don't want to be pregnant. At all. We used protection I don't know how it happened. I'm sorry" Ellie says to Chase. Chase definitely feels guilty, I can tell. He gives her a hug and whispers, "I'm not mad at you. I'm sorry" he says.
When she pulls away she mutters, "I don't want to keep it" to us. "It's entirely your decision Ellie, I'm here for you no matter what" Cooper says. "I just don't have the money and I'm not able to cope with a young child yet" she says. "We support you Els, I can take you to the doctor today if you want?" I ask and she nods. "Is that ok with you Cooper, it's your child too" she says. "Of course! It's your decision and I'll love you no matter what. I also think it's too soon for us, the future will be better" he says and Ellie smiles.
It was a few hours later and I was sat in the doctors waiting room with Ellie. We all talked about what she wanted to do and it was decided that she wanted an abortion. She told me she hates the idea of it but she couldn't cope with a baby right now and I completely understand. She's amazing with her sisters but it would be difficult for her especially since she's starting getting more and more acting jobs now. I was sat with a very nervous Ellie. Her hands were shaking and she just couldn't sit still. She didn't want Cooper here, she just wanted me which I was surprised about. I place my hand over hers, trying to ease her anxiety. "I'm sorry" she whispers to me. "Don't be sorry. I understand" I say and comfort her.
"I'm a horrible person" she says to me and rests her head on my shoulder. "You most definitely aren't. You're the kindest person I know Els. What you're doing isn't a bad thing. Because if you decided to have the baby, it wouldn't of been able to be cared for as good as it should be. You're not a horrible person Els" I tell her and she nods.
"Ellie Stokes?" A doctor calls and she nods and sighs. "Do you want me to come with you?" I ask, making sure she was comfortable but I realised she was when she was violently nodding and squeezing my hand as we walked in the room and joined the doctor.
"Just take a seat on the bed for me, Ellie please" the doctor says and she does so. I make sure to keep a hold of her hand as I know how nervous she is. "I'm just going to ask a few simple questions" the doctor says. "How old are you?" She asks and Ellie replies with, "I'm 18." The more questions the doctor asked, the more nervous she got. "Was this pregnancy planned?" She asks. "Well obviously not otherwise I wouldn't be here" Ellie says back, annoyed. I give her a sympathetic smile, it was the most I could do.
"I'm just going to do an ultrasound to check how far along you are" the doctor says and does what she needs to do. "Since you're only a few weeks, we can give you a pill that will work. It'll just be like a heavy period" the doctor explains and Ellie nods. She's given the first pill which she takes and has a few more which she needs to consume in the next few days. We thank the doctor and leaves.
Once we get back to the car, she breaks down. "Oh Els, it's okay" I say hugging her. She doesn't say anything but just cries. It's hard to see her go through this. "I don't wanna go home, not yet" she tells me. "Do you wanna go see Madison and Mariah?" I suggest, I know how close she is to both of them and even Izzy. "Yeah" she says quietly. I play her favourite songs in the car to try and cheer her up whilst I drive to Madisons.
When I pull up on the drive, I give Madison a text to just update her on the day and to let her know Els is quite upset. I know how close Ellie and Madison are, they have such a strong bond and they always have. "Come on, she's waiting for you. Mariah is at the park with Izzy" I say and Ellie walks up to the front door.
Madison opens it, with her arms open and immediately hugs Ellie who already had tears. "It's okay, baby. It's alright. You're okay Els, I promise" Madison says comforting her. I must admit, Madison was extremely good at comforting people.
"I feel like such a shitty person Bails. I've just fucking killed a baby" she says. "You haven't Els, I promise. It was only cells, it didn't have feelings or even a body. You're not a shitty person. You're amazing, beautiful and you have the kindest heart" she tells Ellie.
Chases pov "Why can't we go surfing Dad" Olivia asks for the tenth time. "I've already told you, Finn and Addie are home soon" I tell her. "So what? Ask Grandma if they can stay longer. Please? We never have dad/daughter surf trips anymore. I miss spending time with you" she says and that's all it takes for me to phone Pam and ask if she could keep the younger two a little longer. "Go get your swimming suit on then" I say and she cheers. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She yells. "Quiet, Milo's sleeping" I say laughing.
Whilst I was waiting for Liv to get ready, I sent Mads a text. I couldn't stop thinking about Ellie, she's going through a lot today.
Me How did it go? Is she okay?
Mads❤️ they gave her a pill which will do it. she's quite emotional, we are at Madisons atm cause she didn't wanna go home yet. idk when we will be home. is everything okay at home?
Me Aww 🥺 let her know I love her and your mom has the younger two for longer, Liv wanted to go surfing and made me feel guilty cause she said she misses our dad/daughter dates so we are heading to the beach soon

"Are you ready Liv?" I shout and she runs down the stairs. "Yep" she says. The beach was literally a 5 minute walk from our house because we all love it so much. "Come on Dad, hurry" she says pulling my hand. "I know I brought you up to like surfing but i didn't think you and Ellie would love it this much" I say laughing. "It's my favourite thing ever and it's even better with you" she says.
"Come on Dad stop being a baby" she yells at me. Olivia likes to go far out into the ocean. She's only 11 so I don't know where she gets all her bravery from, besides Ellie. "Alright, give me a second" I say and paddle my way to join her. When a big wave comes, we stand up in our boards and hold our hands out the each other, holding onto each other.
