Chase Stokes and his girlfriend, Madelyn Cline are in Charleston filming season two of Outer Banks. What happens when something happens to his younger sister, Ellie.
Chases pov "Finally. That was the worst travel day ever" I complain as we pull up to our house in Charleston. We had Izzy with us since Madison was at the hospital. She's been in contact with us and she said it's a slow labour and the baby will most likely arrive later tonight. "Can we please just drop our bags off and go and investigate Charleston?" Olivia says which makes us laugh. "Investigate? Ok Sherlock Holmes" Ellie says laughing. "Well I don't want to stay home all day" she says and we agree.
We visit some shops and especially the beach. "No surfing today" Mads says which makes a few of us roll our eyes. By a few of us I mean me, Els and Olivia. "Dad?" Olivia asks sweetly, walking up to me and holding my hand. "Yeah?" I reply. "Can I start competing in surfing?" She asks and I smile. "Of course you can. You've got the skills for it, I'll look into it this week" I say happily. I always knew she would want to do competing sooner or later. Ellie was always too busy to do it but Olivia has her heart set on being a pro surfer.

"Have you heard from Madison?" I ask Mads, who nods. "I have, it's a slow labour. The baby won't be here until late tonight at least" She tells me. "Does she want you there?" I ask, knowing Madison wanted Mads there for Izzy. "She does, Mariah will call me when it's time" Mads says.
"Dad can we go surfing?" Olivia whispers to me. "Really Liv? I literally just said no surfing" Maddie says, obviously hearing. "We haven't been in Charleston in agessss, surfing is the best here" she begs. "You can tell she's your kid" Mads says, patting my back laughing.
A few hours later Madelyns pov I just got the call from Mariah that it was time and I had to be at the hospital. I arrived real quick, the hospital isn't a long drive. "Thank god you're here, she's a wreck with the pain relief they've given her" Mariah says quietly before I enter the room. "Worse than with Izzy?" I say and Mariah nods. "Thank fuck you're here, my wife is clueless" Madison says when she sees me walk through the door. "Rough labour, eh?" I say joking and she nods. "The nurse said I'll start pushing soon" Madison says annoyed. "Still no idea what gender it is?" I ask and they shake. "I bet it's a boy" Mariah says. "Nah, Im betting on a girl" I say. "Girl, boy, whatever it is. I just want it out of me fucking soon" Madison says which makes us laugh.
Just on time, the nurse comes in to prepare the room. "I'm so fucking scared" Madison says to me as the nurses and doctors were preparing the stuff. "Look at me Madison, you've done it all before and look how worth it, it was. You got given the best gift ever. Just think that soon it'll be two" I say, holding her hand as Mariah has her other.
"Okay Ma'am, can you start pushing on the count of three" The doctor asks and Madison does so, squeezing Mariah and I's hand tightly in the process. "That's it, well done" Mariah says, comforting her. "And again" the doctor says and Madison groans.
After 20 minutes of pushing, the doctor says, "There's been no progress at all. I think we need to prep for an emergency C-section" which makes Madison worry. "No. Please, no" Madison says, anxious. "It's for the best, Ma'am" the doctor warns. "Listen to him, Maddie. It's for the best" Mariah says. "It's scary" Madison says. "I understand but me and Mariah will be by your side holding your hands the entire time. I promise" I say and Madison nods.
"Can we ask you two to prep wearing gowns please?" The doctor says, handing us gowns to wear. Me and Mariah quickly change whilst they're preparing Madison. We soon joined her and stood either side of her, holding her hand. As the doctors started doing their thing, it was quite disgusting to watch. "You're doing so well" Mariah says, stroking Madisons hair. "Not long left until your little ones in your arms" The doctor says.
Only a couple of seconds later, we heard a loud cry and cheering. "Congratulations, it's a girl!" The doctor says after stitching Madison back up, allowing her to see her daughter. Madison let out tears that she was holding in as she held her baby girl. "She's beautiful" I say, admiring the little one. "I'm so proud of you babe" Mariah says.
"Welcome to the world little Sophia Linney" Madison says and I smile at the name.
