Chapter 79

Madelyns pov
"My waters broke" I say beginning to get nervous. "It's all good, Mads. Just breathe" Chase says, holding my hand. "Go do your thing, Mom" Ellie says, smiling. She had Mila in her arms yet she still looked hot and sweaty. "I'm so proud of you Els, you done amazing" I say, kissing her forehead. "Double birth day? Follow me Mrs Stokes" the nurse says and leads us to a separate room. "I hope the labour is as quick as Ellie's was"  I say, changing into the hospital gown with Chase's help.

The contractions started pretty quickly. It was good yet bad. It meant our baby boy would be in our arms sooner but they hurt like hell. "You're doing great, Mads. It'll be over soon" Chase says, whilst holding onto my hand. He was amazing especially during the birth, he could easily comfort me. Contractions lasted another hour or so before the nurse said I could start pushing. "Do quick labours run in the family?" She jokes. "Not usually, my last one lasted hours" I say, thankful this one was pretty quick.

"I'm scared, Chase" I say. "You're strong, you can do it Mads. You're amazing" He says, kissing me before the doctors came in. Fortunately, our baby boy arrived 30 minutes later. "Welcome baby boy" I say, hugging him. "Is the name we chose definite?" Chase asks and I nod. "If you want, you can share a room with Ellie" the nurse says and we nod so she wheeled the bed into Ellie's room.

"Congratulations Mom, is it brother number two?" She asks, smiling as she sees me. I nod and she catches a glimpse at him. "He's beautiful... I can't wait for him and Mila to be best friends. They share a birthday" Ellie says and it makes me smile. "Congratulations to you too, Mom. How is it?" I say to my daughter. "It's the best thing. Even though I'm young" I say. "Els, I was 22 when I became a Mom with you" I remind her. "What's his name?" Cooper asks and me and Chase smile, knowing they'd love his middle name.

"Henry Cooper Stokes" we say together and Cooper looks surprised. "Cooper?" He says, smiling and I nod. "We thought that after everything you done for Els and our family, he could be named after you. I just know this little man is going to love you" I say. "Wow, I'm honoured Maddie and Chase" he says, smiling.

"I think our family is complete now" I say to Chase and then Ellie laughs. "You said that last time, I give you both another year or so" she says which causes everyone to laugh.

"Mila and Henry, we love you" Chase says admiring the two newborns. "We did it. Together" I say, holding hands with Ellie. "Like always, you got me through it Mom" Ellie says and I could cry, she means so much to me and I'm so proud of her.

One month later
Ellies pov
Life's been good whilst having a daughter. Cooper moved into our family house so he could be with me and Mila. I can't lie, it is a bit chaos especially with my Mom and Dads newborn, Henry. It's kinda cute that Henry and Mila share the same birthday.

Me and Cooper made a big decision recently, we haven't even told any one. I'm planning to tell my Mom and Dad now, even though I'm dreading it.

"Mom, Dad... can I talk to you?" I ask as Cooper was looking after Mila, it was perfect chance. They both nod and I sit next to them. "Me and Cooper made a decision... I'm not sure you'll both be happy but we finally decided" I start off and they look nervous. "After this seasons filming ends, me and Cooper won't be returning home with Mila. We've decided we are going to live here, in Charleston" I say nervously.

Mom and Dad both smile but deep down I know they are upset. "That's great, Els. We will miss you so much though" Dad says and I hug him. I look over to Mom and see her just staring at the wall. "Mom?" I say and she nods. "I'm sorry, I should be excited for you but I don't know if I'll cope without you being so near" she says honestly.

"I know, I am pretty nervous myself but Charlestons my home. I'm happiest here and I want Mila to be happy here" I tell them. "I support you decision, I really do. You're growing up but it'll be really difficult for us all" Mom says and I nod. "I'll FaceTime you a lot, you'll always hear from me" I add and they both understand.

"You and Cooper are amazing parents, I know you'll give Mila the best childhood and we will be visiting often" Dad says. "Does Liv know?" Mom asks and I shake my head. "Do I know what?" Olivia says, walking through the door. Perfect timing I guess.

"Liv, after this season I won't be coming back to California with y'all. Me and Cooper are staying here in Charleston with Mila" I tell her and she looks at me in disbelief. "You're leaving me?" She says. "I'll FaceTime you everyday, Liv and you can come stay whenever you want" I try and say but she just shakes. "That means nobody will go surfing with me and practice for my surf competitions that I'm starting in the summer! Ellie, you can't stay here!" She says, getting herself worked up.

I walk over to her, pulling her into my embrace and hugging her. "I promise I'll keep in touch, Liv. I'm not going anywhere" I say. "Sister promise?" She says. A sister promise is something we made when Olivia was younger. It was basically a pinky promise but something we wouldn't break because we were sisters. It's something we've always done.

"Sister promise" I say, linking our pinky fingers together. "So you'll always message me and FaceTime?" She asks and I nod. "I will" I say and she hugs me. "I'm gonna miss you" Liv says, not letting go. "I'll miss you too but at least you'll be the oldest in the house now" I say, hoping to make her smile but she doesn't. "I'd still rather you" she says. I felt awful now but I knew this is what I needed to do. I couldn't rely on my family forever even though I need them.

"This family has gotten me through everything, I would be so lost without you all" I say, hugging Olivia.
