You and Wanda sat across from Tyrone and Tandy as they scoffed down their food. You ended up convincing them to return to Burns with you in order to ask some questions. Maybe even make some new friends.
You could dream.
Tandy and Tyrone were just happy to have an actual meal for once. And, oddly enough, they felt safer here. Kinda like the entire town was a sanctuary.
Y/N: Eat as much as you'd like. It's on me. And by that, I mean SHIELD.
You took a drink of your coffee before Tyrone looked up at you. His hood was pulled down and you realized that they were young. Turns out, they were your age.
Tyrone: Thank you for this. We appreciate it.
Wanda: Consider it a thank you for saving that store clerk. Good work.
Tyrone nodded in appreciation and went back to his food. You set your cup down and sighed.
Y/N: So, Tandy and Tyrone. T squad. And you both have powers. How'd that happen? You get bitten by a radioactive cape?
Wanda: Mutants?
Y/N: Solar flares?
Wanda: Vat of acid?
Y/N: Aliens?
Tandy shook her head. She finally set her fork and knife down and wentbto answer, but she noticed you were stirring your coffee with a fork.
Tandy: Uh...no. It's a long story.
Y/N: We got time.
You pulled out your fork and set it down. You then reached up and scratched your neck again. What was up with that?
Tandy and Tyrone stayed silent for a moment before they looked at each other.
Wanda: We can't help you if you don't tell us what's wrong.
The two kept their silence before Tyrone set down his fork.
Tyrone: It started a few months ago. We.....we were on a trip with our class. Uh, a tired went out and the bus crashed off of the side of a hill.
Tandy: Next thing we know, we were kidnapped by some German guys. And they....they experimented on us. They turned us into these, things.
Well, at least you could relate.
Tandy: Tyrone has access to the Darkforce.
Y/N: The Darkforce? Sounds like something some edgey teen would write in his notebook.
Tyrone: It's a power that...allows me to....do things.
Y/N: Very descriptive.
Tyrone: I can't explain it. All I know is I can teleport. I can...transport people to another place inside the Darkforce. And I can see people's fears.
