Prophet: Have you ever heard of Ley Lines, friends and brethren? They are channels of energy the flow beneath us. They are places of ancient and eternal worship. Certain monuments are erected all over. The great pyramids. Stonehenge. Machu picchu. We, the Aurora, are planning to build our own monument here. This town is the convergence of the Ley Lines. The tip of the what is called the Bermuda Triangle of the north. Some people believe the deaths and disappearances to be some kind of human folly. But I know better. The Long Night is coming. It begins, and ends, here.
In the Burns police station, phone line after phone line went off. The dispatcher groaned as she tried to answer as many as possible.
Man: My cabin's been broken into. T-They took all of my light bulbs!
Woman: My lights are all missing. I think someone took them.
Hunter: Someone fucked with my truck! The lights aren't turning on!
All over Burns, residents found themselves without light. And all found a single card by their pillows.

Doctor: We put Ms. Aliyak under, and she's been unresponsive since the surgery. She lost a lot of blood. Some severe brain damage. I'm amazed she's alive.
Wanda walked along with the doctor down the hospital halls. They reached Dinah's room where she laid, unconscious. Wanda noticed the bruises around her face and arms.
Doctor: I've seen her around town. She's been protesting a lot, lately.
Wanda: Protesting what?
Doctor: Something about logging. The Langrocks just bought a bunch of land but, I don't know much about it.
Wanda nodded and approached the sleeping woman. She then reached for her hospital gown.
Wanda: I need to inspect her wounds.
Doctor: I'm sorry but, you can't just...
Wanda looked at her over her shoulder. The doctor froze under he gaze. Wanda reached for the gown and lifted it up. She spotted the bite marks on her torso.
She slowly counted them one by one before she reached a conclusion.
Wanda: A bear has 42 teeth. A human has 32.
Doctor: But...the bite radius is three times larger than any man's. I don't understand.
Wanda sighed.
Wanda: Neither do I.
She hoped you did.

Ekwok Village was smaller than Burns. However, it still felt the same. Must also be a part of that, doesn't exist but does.
