[Chapter Nineteen: The Box]

The moment I opened my eyes, the bright room welcomed me. Dahan-dahan akong umupo sa higaan at humikab, I'm probably still at the hotel.

May nakita akong mga nakatuping damit sa may lamesa na hindi kalayuan saakin, I stood up and walked towards it. Isa itong blouse, mga undergarments, at isang pantalon. When I thought of Corpse giving these, I took them with me to the bathroom where I'll take a bath quickly. Wala naman akong iba pang gagawin, I don't even know if I'll go with that man to Italy. Oh, I told him that going there today would be nice. Now I'm fucked up.

Mabilis akong naligo at sinuot ang mga damit at mga panloob, I took the toothbrush at the sink of the bathroom and put some toothpaste on it. Lumabas ako ng kwarto habang nagsisipilyo, I grabbed the remote and turn the TV on. Saktong balita ang ipinalalabas kaya binaba ko na ang remote sa lamesa.

I watched at the news report while still brushing my teeth.

"The missing diamond has now been turned back to the authorities again, after 3 years when it was stolen by some three Italian nationals from the museum. It is said that someone left a box where the diamond is placed inside few meters away from the headquarters of CCO, and the person behind it is still unknown."

Bumagal ang pagsipilyo ko sa ngipin ko nang marinig ko ang binabalita, binaba ko ang toothbrush ko at tinitigan ang TV screen.

That missing diamond... That was my mission with Meghan, iyan ang misyon na hindi namin nagawa at natapos dahil sobrang galing at ingat ng tatlong hinahabol namin sa Italya.

The diamond was stolen here and when we found out that they're Italians and they quickly flew to Italy to escape, the organization didn't hesitate to send me there with Meghan, leaving Acrid behind.

And the shocking part is, the three people who stole it is part of the Martini clan. The well-known family throughout the Italy.

Ah, the Italy's richest family, and our mission was to follow after the three siblings, the Martini siblings; the children of Mr. and Mrs. Martini.

We just know their ages and genders, the eldest is a male, second is a male too while the youngest is a female. From their updated ages; 27, 25, and 22. They still became a mystery. Even the CCTVs inside the museum, we can't see their faces clearly.

Simula nang umalis sila sa kanilang bansa nang masundan namin sila doon, we lost contact. No tracking device could track them, no records at every airports, no footprints that we can follow... No nothing. And the siblings have the world's rarest diamond, too rare that it's the only diamond to exist.

But it's back, the diamond is back. Sino kaya ang nakakuha doon? Or did they surrendered it? If they surrendered it, then why? Did their parents warn them because it could affect their family's name?

Kahit ilang tanong pa ata ang ibato ko, wala pa rin akong makukuhang kasagutan.
