Unti-unti kong minulat ang mga mata ko at nilibot ng tingin ang paligid, I could hear high frequency sound inside my ears.

I'm inside my room.

Inside the dormitory section of the organization.

What happened?

I grunted while holding my own head and my eyes are tightly closed, I was breathing heavily and trying to remember what happened for the past few days.

Natigilan ako nang may maramdaman ako sa may ulo ko, I opened my eyes and tried to guess what's around my head.

"Don't touch your head that way."

Napatingin agad ako sa pintuan nang may pumasok doon.

"I knew my guts were right while I was walking all the way back to your room, I knew you're already awake." Nilapag niya ang paper bag na dala niya sa lamesa, she sat on the chair near me and looked at me.

"You've been unconscious for nearly 3 days." She narrowed her eyes at me, "I guess history do repeat itself."

I stared at her before silently grunting, sumandal ako sa headboard ng kama at nagpakawala ng malalim na hininga.

"What did Headmistress said?" Walang-ganang tanong ko. I bet there's a reason why Headmistress ordered us to come back.

She shrugged, "She said we need to wait for you to wake up and recover first." she sighs. "What unlucky charm do you have with you, Dacheu?"

I fake a smile, "It's in my veins."

She snorted while straightly looking at me, "Wow, what an unlucky life you got." She started to count with her hand. "You got betrayed, you're still searching for your family, our mission to get the case, your silent will to save the school, you got fucked up because of the explosion, and you're still finding yourself."

She tsked, "Just knowing your problems makes me stressed out."

Napangisi ako sa sinabi niya.

Also myself couldn't imagine having these tons of problems, my life is indeed a wreck. Marami akong gustong magawa at karamihan doon ay ilan sa mga nilista ni Life.

My smirk disappeared when I remembered something. The explosion.

"Is Corpse still alive?" Tanong ko sakanya, I don't know if I still need to ask her that. The car exploded, there's no way that Corpse is still alive from that incident.

Her face dropped, natahimik siya bigla.

Napabuga ako ng marahas na hininga nang ma-gets ko ang itsyura niya.

Corpse is a nice guy, I can't lie. Ni hindi manlang ako nagpasalamat sakanya, he did so many things to help me. He's really patient with everyone, he never raised his voice to anyone. Knowing what happened to him, it made me sad...truly made me sad and guilty at the same time.
