"Pupunta ka ba sa party ni Clark?" Vergeire asked.

Ever since we moved to Manila five years ago, we've been living it up, partying, and making friends. We might be from the province, but we know how to fit in here.

"I don't know," I shrugged.

"Hoy gaga! Ikaw na nga mismo ang inimbita! Malamang ay lalandiin ka na naman no'n!" She teased, lightly tugging my hair.

I glared at her before continuing to read my books. I don't really want to continue my studies; I just want to party and travel, but my mother would be disappointed if I didn't.

"Nag-aaral ba talaga yan? Weh? Talaga ba?" Vergeire peeked at my face, making us both laugh.

I put my book down on the bedside table and stood up. I guess I’m really not into studying. I rolled my eyes at Vergeire before heading to the closet to find something to wear.

"Dami pang eme, sasama naman pala." She said, making me roll my eyes.

"Sayang ang ganda kung ibuburo ko lang sa bahay." I chuckled and went inside the bathroom to change.

"Sabihin mo, gusto mo lang madiligan. Kunwari ka pa, alam mo naman na maraming gwapo doon dahil basketball player si Clark!" I heard her shout from outside.

I laughed and stepped out after changing. I wore a black tube top, a leather brown skirt, and paired it with black boots. A bit of makeup highlighted my facial features.

"Let's go!" I called out to her, now playing Tom and Jerry on my phone.

"It's for my niece," I explained, but Vergeire always plays it when she's bored.

"Taray, may 'I don't know' pang nalalaman kanina pero ready na ready." She laughed and followed me out of the condo.

I drove to Clark's house, which was already bustling with people. The outside was filled with cars, and my gaze dropped on a Lamborghini parked near the gate.

I shrugged. I want to buy a Lamborghini, but maybe it's not for me. For goodness' sake, it costs millions!

The noise of music and people shouting greeted me as soon as I entered. It was louder than a bar. The mix of cigarette smoke, alcohol, and sweat hit me.

"Vergeire! Celestine! I'm glad you two came! Akala ko ay hindi kayo pupunta!" Clark greeted us, rubbing my arm.

I smirked and held his hand. "Of course we would come! You know, I'm a party girl!"

"So, let's go upstairs?" He whispered in my ear, but my gaze was fixed on a man talking with other men. His dark eyes were intimidating, his brows furrowed, and his messy brown hair added to his rugged charm.

"Tine? Are you okay?" I jumped when I felt Clark's hand on my lower chest. He smirked at my reaction and gently caressed my lower breasts.

"Do you know his name?" I asked out of nowhere.

Clark paused, glanced at where I was looking, and then laughed like a maniac. "Oh, he's Kuenzier. He owns Fortis Engineering Company. But I heard he's not into girls. Wala pang balita na nagka-girlfriend yan. Sabi pa nga ng iba ay bakla siya." He shook his head and removed his hand from my chest.

I sat on a high stool, never breaking my gaze on Kuenzier. He was definitely handsome, but why didn't he have a girlfriend? Maybe he has one secretly? Or flings?

"Hoy gaga! Nakausap mo lang si Clark nakalimutan mo na ang dyosa mong kaibigan!" Vergeire elbowed me.

"Tangina mo! Huwag ka magulo, nakahanap ako nang magdidilig sa akin!" I pointed subtly at Kuenzier.
