The scarlet train whistled as it set off, leaving Hogwarts. The corridors bustled with activity, and four girls sat in their compartment, chatting about everything.

"3 chocolate frogs please," Audrey said with a smile, paying the trolley lady. She hadn't talked to Robert at all the day before, and he had vigorously avoided her, to the extent of not even looking at her during meals. She hadn't told anyone about their spat, the four guys would become too offensive towards him, and the girls would question why she didn't spend time with him, and they couldn't know about the animagus training.

She smiled and thanked the lady as she placed the chocolate frogs in her hands, and went inside the compartment.

"Thank you my love," Marlene said dramatically as Audrey chucked a chocolate frog towards her, grinning.

She sat down next to Lily, and the redhead placed her head onto Audrey's lap, stretching her hand out for the chocolate frog, which the girl handed to her.

"Oooh, I got Merlin," Marlene said, taking a bite out of her sweet, a few strands of her platinum blond hair falling out of her ponytail.

"I got Rowena Ravenclaw again," Lily said in a bored tone, nibbling on her frog, her ginger hair splayed out, half on Audrey's lap, and half covering the seat. Audrey hummed, looking out the window. A knock sounded through the compartment, and all eyes fell onto the girl standing at the door, a smile on her face.

"Dorcas!" Alice excitedly yelped, as she sprang from her seat, giving the girl a huge hug.

"Alice, hey," Dorcas said, chuckling.

"Wait, I have your book somewhere," Alice said, reaching for her bag, while the girl introduced herself to the rest of the members of the compartment.

"Hi, I'm Dorcas Meadowes, 5th year," she said with a smile, leaning on the doorframe.

"Hey, I'm Lily Evans," Lily said brightly. She had long gotten up from Audrey's lap, and was now sitting with her legs folded, looking at the new girl.

"Audrey Potter," Audrey said with a polite smile, which Dorcas returned. Her focus shifted onto Marlene, waiting for the girl to introduce herself. But all the Mar did was look at her with widened eyes.

"Er, this is Marlene McKinnon," Lily said after a moment of silence.

"Oh, shit, yeah, hi. I'm Marlene," the girl replied, coming out of her daze.

"Hi Marlene," Dorcas said, letting out a laugh.

"There you go Dorcas. Thank you for letting me borrow it," Alice said with a smile, handing Dorcas a small leather bound book. Dorcas smiled back politely.

"Goodbye everyone. Bye Marlene," she said with a smirk before closing the door and walking away.

"Oh. My. God." Marlene sighed.

"She's so fucking gorgeous. Her hair. Did you guys look at her eyes? She's so beautiful. And her laugh, oh her laugh," Marlene said dramatically putting a hand over her heart, and falling onto Alice's lap. "She was a god sent angel," she breathed out, her eyes closed.

Lily, Alice and Audrey looked at each other before bursting into laughter. Their giggles filled the compartment as Marlene rolled her eyes at them.

"Hush up you three!" The girl said, throwing her jumper at Audrey and Lily.

"Marry her Mar," Lily said with a chuckle.

"I would if I could," Marlene said, once again sighing dreamily.

"Can we talk?"
Audrey Potter asked Robert Wood as he got off the train. He shifted uncomfortably, before nodding slightly as the pair shifted to a mire discreet corner.

"Are we okay?" she asked the boy, worry in her eyes.

"Er, yeah, of course we are," he said, refusing to meet her eyes.

"Rob I need an actual answer."

"I really need to go. Mum and dad are waiting. See you Aud," he muttered before taking his trolley and heading towards the barrier, and disappearing out if sight completely. Audrey let out a frustrated sigh. All she wanted was to talk to the guy, attempt to explain herself, and sort everything out. But apparently, that wasn't possible.

"AUD!" James yelled from the other end of the station, beckoning her to come through the barrier. The girl rolled her eyes, and walked towards her brother with a miserable expression.

"Jamesie,". she said.

"Yes?"

"Boys suck,"

James let out a chuckle, throwing his arm over his twin, and both of them walked to Mia, Fleamont and Sirius, who were already engaged in  conversation.

Hi
So, I took a break for the sake of my mental health, my studies, and, life in general. I'm so so sorry loves. But I'm back now, so I guess that counts for something.

On a lighter note, my birthday was yesterday. Covid sucks, and I couldn't celebrate a lot, but it was pretty fun.

Drop your zodiacs in the comments, cause why not?

I'm an Aries, btw.

Vote and comment, cause that really keeps me going!!
