Everything went perfectly over the coming months. James and Sirius had grown to dislike a certain Severus Snape, or as they liked to call him, Snivellus, for a number of reasons, his appearance, the fondness Lily and him had for each other, or as the duo stated, the idea of his mere existence.

School went as it would. Audrey's classes were going quite well, and she seemed to succeed in most of her subjects, except astronomy, in which Sirius graciously helped her. Apparently the Black family had a penchant for astronomical names, derived either from constellation or star names. Hence, Sirius was quite skilled in Astronomy, along with the other plethora of subjects he thrived in. Yet he never was the model student, thanks to the pranks he played. James, Sirius, Remus and Peter had become quite close during the months they had been at Hogwarts, just like Audrey, Marlene, Lily and Alice had.

And that's when the clues started to come up.

Remus' monthly disappearances, his scars, his frequent sicknesses, and everything in the middle. The clues started fitting together when she was leisurely studying moon cycles with Sirius. It took her a few months to piece everything together. She started documenting all of it in a small black journal. His disappearances that synced together with a certain phase of the moon, his deathly scars that could never be a result of the excuses given by him, his constant monthly weakness...

And she understood it all on a library date with Lily Evans.

"Hey, could you pass me the spare parchment?" Lily asked Audrey. Both of them were sitting in the Hogwarts Library. Their table was quite aesthetically pleasing, spare bits of parchment, ink bottles, hard- bound books, and feathers, all illuminated by a single shaft of sunlight making its way in, also illuminating Lily's beautiful face. She had her crimson hair up in a bun, and was quite focused on her Potion's task. On the other hand, Audrey was leisurely reading Shakespeare's Romeo and Julliet for the millionth time. Her blond hair was up in a bun like her best friend's as well.

"Sure love," she said in her poshest accent, making Lily giggle. She passed the parchment to her friend and put her book down. "I'm gonna find a new book to read, be right back,"

Lily hummed in response, and went back to her task. Audrey got up and started scanning the bookshelves. She soon found an interesting book by the name of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', written by a Mr. Newt Scamander. Beasts had always been a topic of interest for her, and Care of Magical Creatures was a class she longed to attend. She picked up the book swiftly and gracefully with her long fingers and head back to her their table.

After a lazy read, she came upon a topic she found more interesting than any. Werewolves.

She read through the text quickly and finally came to the part on how to identify the werewolf.

And that's when it happened. Millions of thoughts swirled through her head.
'His scars, his monthly disappearances during the full moon, his illness surrounding the full moon, his excuses 'I've just got a badly behaved cat', his weakness, hiding his situation, never taking off his shirt in public, even when they went swimming in the lake, it all piled up,'.

"Werewolf," she whispered into the air.
