Quick A/N (it's an important one, please don't miss it): Alright, so even though I didn't plan on it earlier, but I want to introduce smoking and alcohol to this book. I highly DISCOURAGE and do NOT stand with underage smoking and drinking. I am not trying to romanticise either of these activities. And you shouldn't indulge in them just to be like your favourite characters. But, it's the 70's and I'm pretty sure that they did both of these. I'll try to keep references to both of them as minimal as possible.
Alright that's it.

Audrey was frozen in her position. She felt numb, not even feeling the bitterness of the cold against her bare skin, the cream cardigan now discarded. She stood there, mouth slightly agape, eyes widened. She could feel her heart thumping loudly in her ears, and her breathing became rapid.
And suddenly she felt everything all at once.
The feeling of anger, the shock, but most importantly the betrayal. How could someone she trusted with her body, with her emotions, with herself, betray her so easily? How could he use her? Use her body? Play with her emotions? And with such ease. She stumbled a little, her back hitting a stone statue. Robert's eyes darted towards the sound instantly, widening when he saw the Potter. He pushed the Slytherin off of him, not breaking eye contact with Audrey.
Her eyes pooled with tears, threatening to spill. She ran away from the door, her loud footsteps echoing through the empty hallways. Her tears were flowing freely, and a constrained sob escaped her throat.
"AUDREY! AUDREY PLEASE! PLEASE STOP," Robert's voice yelled after her, his hands attempting to button his open shirt. Audrey paid no heed to him, her speed only increasing as she heard him. She couldn't be around him. She couldn't see him. Not right now. The freezing air stung her face like needles, her hot burning tears contradicting painfully. She ran inside the infirmary, slamming the huge door loudly. She slid down the back of it, onto the floor.
And she let it all out.

"Do we wake her up?" a whisper sounded. Marlene.
"No. Let her rest. She looks rough," Sirius. A hand stroked Audrey's face lightly, brushing out some of her hair.
"Why was she sleeping on the floor?" a confused voice sounded. Peter.
"I don't think she meant to. And I think she was crying," Lily whispered gently.
"Why would she be crying? She seemed alright when we left her last night," Remus asked, his voice laced with concern.
"How is it that no one here knows what happened!?" said James, frustrated at his helplessness at the situation.
"They're just children mate. What do you expect them to know?" Sirius said, his voice lacking it's usual cheer.
"Excuse me," a soft voice meekly interrupted the conversation. All six of them simultaneously turned their heads, to face a small boy who looked like he was in his first year.
"I saw her last night. She went outside, and then came back in about thirty minutes later. She was crying. A lot. She didn't notice me. And gradually, I fell asleep. That's all I know," he completed. Lily gently smiled smiled at him, and James smiled at her.
"Thank you. Truly. That helps a lot," she said softly, and the boy smiled back, proud of himself before exiting the infirmary.
The covers rustled lightly, as Audrey shifted her position a little, now on her side, facing Sirius. He softly caressed her face, his granite eyes studying her carefully. What made her cry? What had led to her to spend her entire night in such pain? The oak doors swung open at that instant, and the reason walked in.
Robert Wood stood at the entrance of the Hospital Wing, his eyes full of guilt, and his hands holding a box of chocolates, and a bouquet of roses. He hesitated walking towards the bed, seeing the six fourth years already sitting there. Nevertheless, he made his way towards her side, sitting opposite to Sirius who was glaring daggers at him, still not over the incident on the Quidditch Pitch. Sirius retreated his hand from Audrey's face, and Robert put his own on hers.
"Morning." He nodded in acknowledgment, and the others muttered their greetings in response.
"All of that," Sirius asked, gesturing towards the goodies in his hands, "is for her?"
"Yeah, it is. Her favourite flowers and chocolate from Hogsmeade,"
"Those aren't her favourite flowers," Sirius replied quietly after a pause, his eyes still focused on Audrey's face.
"Pardon?" Robert asked, a little irritated at the Black.
"Those aren't her favourite flowers." he said more prominently. "She likes tulips. She doesn't love the smell of roses as much as tulips,"
Marlene chuckled a little, and a slight grin grew on Lily's face.
"Oh," was all Wood could mutter out as he went red in embarrassment.
Audrey pulled her hand away from Robert's, rubbing her eyes slightly before fluttering them open. She slightly squinted adjusting to the sunlight before opening them fully, looking the seven people gathered around her bed. More specifically at one certain fifth year. The memories of the night before came rushing to her, his hands on the Slytherin's waist, hers on his bare chest, their bodies slightly entangled. She quickly inched away from him, toward Sirius, who looked at her utterly confused. Her hand accidentally landed onto his, and he grabbed it comfortingly.
"You really had the nerve to come back her after everything, you asshole," she asked, the mere sight of him disgusting her to her very core. Everyone's eyes widened in response, not knowing the reason to this not so cheerful greeting.
"I- I'm sorry, Aud. I didn't mean for it to happen," he said in response, inching his hand towards her again, but she moved away from him again. "It was just a one time thing ," he said helplessly.
"Really? Was it? Because is certainly seemed like you two knew your way around each other," she asked venomously, almost spitting the words out. Lily gasped slightly, realising what had happened. The realisation dawned onto everyone slowly.
"I'm sorry Audrey. I really am,"
"Are you sorry it happened or sorry that you got caught?" She asked, her voice dangerously low, her eyes narrowed frighteningly. The night before, all she felt was the pain of betrayal. And now came the raging anger.
"Get out of my sight." she said getting uncomfortably close to him, and he slightly gulped, his eyes not meeting hers.
"Let me make it up to you. I-"
"GET OUT, YOU SCOUNDREL!"
"Audrey please just listen to me. I swear-"
A loud smack sounded, skin meeting skin. And that day, Robert left not only with his flowers, but a broken tooth, a bruised cheekbone, and blood flowing from his mouth.

Okay but, I'm in love with Aud. Also, Lily and Marlene ship so hard, I can't. Also, I'm gonna make a playlist on Spotify for the book, specifically with Taylor Swift songs, after the re- recordings. I mean, that'll take a year or something, but let's see. And I'm gonna make a playlist with combined artists as well.
Alright that's it, take care and stay safe. Drink some water luvs.
xx
