Their lips brushed.

The door flew open.

Light flooded inside the dimly lit locker room, and Lily Evans stood at the door. There were a lot of things she could have expected, but it was certainly not Audrey Potter and Sirius Black in the middle of what would have been a kiss. She immediately spun around as soon as she saw the pair, and Sirius and Audrey broke up. The boy ran a hand through his hair hurriedly before clearing his throat.

"Audrey you should um, you should go. It's getting late," he said, his voice unusually high pitched. Audrey nodded her head with way too much force, agreeing to his statement.

"Yes, I should, I should get going. Lily! Come with me, won't you?" she replied her voice unnaturally high as well. The ginger spun back around, facing them, at the sound of her name being called. The Potter girl walked out of the locker room with long strides, grabbing Evans' hand roughly, pulling her out with no effort.

The two girls made their way off onto the pitch wordlessly before Lily shook Audrey's grasp on her hand.

"WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING IN THERE!?" she yelled. Audrey groaned loudly.

"I don't know Lily, I don't know! I- I think we just got caught up in the moment, and then he was massaging my neck- don't ask me why he was doing that, it's complicated," she added at Lily's confused expression. "And then things just- they just escalated," she completed with an exhale.

"So, what now?" Lily asked with a softer, more motherly tone.

"I don't know Lils,"

"Did it feel good? Correct?"

"You do realize we didn't really kiss, right?"

"Yes, but you almost did. I'm sure that must have been fueled by something,"

"That's the problem Evans. Nothing's ever felt better,"

The day of the match hadn't started off great. That was an understatement.

It was a disaster.

For starters, Audrey's alarm clock had not gone off, which meant that she was about twenty minutes late. Scurrying to gather her books, she tripped over Marlene's bag, and landed face first onto the cold wooden floor. Her nose pained profusely, and a stream of scarlet blood dripped down her face. With a winded groan she heaved herself up, wiping the blood off of her face using the sleeve of her T-shirt. She rushed into the bathroom, her quidditch robes tucked under her arm. Stripping down as quickly as she could, she let her pants drop down onto the floor. Crimson blood was etched onto them.

She just had her period.

"FUCK," she groaned loudly. Getting into the shower she washed her body as quickly as she humanly could before existing the space, and reaching out for the box of tampons kept under the sink. Placing one in its place hurriedly, she put her clothes on and ran out of the dorm, towards the Great Hall.

The team dressed in scarlet was already exiting the hall as the blonde came in. Remus Lupin was scanning the crowd for her, confused. As soon as he spotted her, he jogged towards her,  sandwich in his hand.

"Why're you so late, you almost missed breakfast?" he asked worriedly.

"Don't ask Rem, I had the worst morning," she said. He shook his head sympathetically, before handing her the sandwich. She took it gratefully placing a small kiss on his cheek, which left him smiling.
