Mistakes || Outer Banks

Part 4 - Kidnaping

Oc falls asleep on the couch and wakes up to Kie making breakfast with Pope. She says "Wow guys, it smells amazing." Then Jj walks out of his room and says "I smell bacon. Where there is the bacon" in a robotic tone. John B then comes out of his room too and says "well good morning to you too." Everyone starts laughing.

After breakfast, Jj and Oc take a walk on the beach and he says "Oc can I ask you something? when i threw you in the water, what happened? I thought you said you knew how to swim." "I-I do but when you threw me and I hit the water, it brought me right back to when Garry would throw me out windows." "So that wasn't the first time?" "No um it wasn't." "Oh okay.. So you don't know who your parents are right?" "No but I think I know how to find out." "What how?" "Garry has a file on me that has all my information and my necklace has pictures of my parents but I never found the courage to open any of it." Jj then says "Alright so let's go get it then." "Are you sure that's a good idea?" "Yeah we just gotta find a time when he's not home." Oc then says "Okay um well he leaves to go get supplies every Friday at around 3 pm." Then Jj says "Okay well it's Friday today and 2:45 now so we can make it if we hurry.

As they arrive, they go through Oc's old rooms window. Jj goes in first and helps her get in. While she is looking for her file in Garry's office, Jj is looking around at her room. There are holes, dents and blood stains on the walls. Once Oc finds her file, she goes back to the room where Jj is and he says "Sunny, this was your room?" She nods and tears roll down her face. Jj goes over and hugs her. She's in the place that makes her feel the least safe but being his arms erases it all.

Suddenly the two hear knocking on the front door. Two men burst into the house knocking everything over and demanding that she hands over the necklace. Jj slips out the window and thinking that she's with him he starts running back to the Château.

Oc's pov

"Let me go!" The man puts his hand on her mouth so that she can't yell and drags her out to his car. He puts her into his trunk and starts driving. She has no idea who the man is but he seems familiar. Once the car stops the man grabs her and brings her to an empty warehouse. There are three men, one is Garry, the second is Barry a known drug dealer, and the third is the man who had just kidnapped her. They tied her to a chair and she is unable to move.

Jj's pov

Once Jj realized that Oc wasn't with him, he went back looking for her and saw her get dragged into a car, but he couldn't identify who it was taking her. He ran after the car discreetly making sure the driver couldn't see him. Once Jj found where the man was taking her, he rushed back to the Château to grab John B, Pope and Kie to help him get her out of there.

Oc's pov

"Give me the necklace!" Yelled Barry. "I don't have it" Oc says angrily. "She's useless!" yells the unknown man. He storms out of the room. Barry then says "okay brother she's all yours, i'm going to guard the front door." "Brother?" Says Oc confused. Garry replies with "I'm surprised it took such a big hint for you to figure it out. You were always a smart one, teaching yourself how to read, how to write- I never quite figured out how you escaped. My guess is it had to do with these nasty pogue friends of yours." "Shut up!" she yells angrily. "Why do you even need the necklace?" she asks. He replies with "That's for me to know and for you to find out. But so you do know where it is don't you." She looks at him with disgust. "Well then is it on you?" He starts searching her and touching her in places he shouldn't be. "Ah found it." Garry gives the necklace over to the one man you still haven't been able to identify and comes right back to you.

After nearly an hour of captivity, Jj bursts into the warehouse with the rest of the pogues. Kie unties Oc While Pope and John B are taking care of Garry. Then, Oc says "guys there are three of them! Barry, Gary and some other guy. He kinda looks like Jj actually." Jj, agitated, then says "where is he? did he hurt you?" She replies confused "A bit. He's in the other room and he has my necklace." He mumbles "motherfucker" and rushes into the other room.

Outside of the warehouse, Barry is trying to untie himself so John B goes out to make sure he can't pull any tricks. Once Kie finally unties Oc, she hugs her and Pope comes over to give her a hug too. Suddenly Jj bursts out of the other room and hugs her. He says "hey baby you okay?" she replies with "yeah, just a little shaken up. You got my necklace?" He pulls it out of his pocket and hands it to her. She then says "thank you. How did you get it back?" "Don't worry about it. Let's just get out of here." He grabs her hand and all the teens run out to Kie's car.
