Part 6 - Family reveal

"Wake up sleepyhead" says Jj. "Nooo! Let me sleep" Oc replies. "It's already 12 and we are going to the big cliffs today." She opens her eyes, looks at him and says "carry me" in a British accent. He replies in the same accent "alright m'lady" and they both laugh. He picks her up gently and brings her to the dining room to eat some of the breakfast that has already been prepared. Kie says in a joking manner "awe such a cute couple!" Jj looks into Oc's dark and mysterious eyes and replies "yeah, I know right." She smiles at him and he puts her down slowly just as John B is rolling his eyes. While they are all eating, John B says "So Oc, do you think your ready to open your file and your locket?" She replies surprised, "Wait, we have my file? I thought we left it back at Garry's" Jj says "yeah i quickly grabbed it on my way out of the house." "Um yeah I guess we can head to the beach after breakfast and open it there" she says, not really knowing what would be the right thing to say.

They are all sitting on the beach as Oc is trying to open her locket. Since she has never had the courage to open it before, it's completely stuck. She hands it to Jj who is sitting right next to her, and after a bit of struggle, he finally gets it open, but doesn't look. He hands it right back to her and as she's looking at the pictures, tears start slowly rolling down her face, because she's looking at two people that she feels like she should recognize, but she doesn't. She throws it onto the sand. Just as she is doing that, Jj says "I know baby, it's okay" and hugs her. Pope picks it up. She looks over at him looking down on the locket with his eyes wide open and filled with shock. John B then says "Pope what's wrong with your eyes they look like they are about to fall out." As Pope tosses the necklace to John B he says "see for yourself." He catches then opens it and frowns out of disbelief. "This is impossible. That's my dad." Kie opens the file to make sure that her and John B are really half siblings. She reads out loud "Father: John Booker Routledge and Mother: Jamilah Williams... so you guys have the same dad, but not the same mom." Next, she reads out her real name "name: undetermined." Pope then says "you never got named.." Kie then reads out "15. You're fifteen years old so you are a year younger than all of us." Everyone is trying to process all the information that just got dumped on them and they all get up to head back to the Château. John B then says "okay then sis" to lighten up the mood and everyone laughs.

Once they all get back to the Château, Oc grabs a drink from the fridge and heads towards the hammock. Jj follows her and says "hey sunny, you feeling okay?" "Yeah it's just a lot to process right now." He comes closer and hugs her. She then says "I need to be alone right now." He let's go of her and starts walking back into the house. "Alone with you. Does that make sense?" He stops walking, turns around and smiles big. He comforts her for a little while before they go to get ready to head to the cliffs to relax a bit and forget the bomb of information they got today.

Driving to the cliffs, John B is driving the van and Oc is sitting in the passenger seat next to him. She then says "I can't believe we are siblings." John B replies "yeah, it's crazy." "So who is our dad?" "He was a great guy who was completely obsessed with finding lost treasure and spent most of his life doing that. He loved kids so I really don't think he would've known that you even existed." "You're talking in the past tense?" "Yeah, big John disappeared at sea about a year ago. He was at first declared a missing person but after a year, they just came to the conclusion that he died." Oc then says "You don't believe that do you." He shakes his head meaning no. She then asks "How bout my mom? Did you know her?" "Um no. I've never really heard of her." He replies. She senses that he isn't telling the truth, but thinks to herself "this is my brother, he wouldn't lie to me."
