Part 16 - Friends?

The next morning, Oc left a note and went back to Sarah's house. John B and Jj were so angry. They didn't understand how she could go back to him after what he tried to do to her. John B was heading towards Kie's car when Sarah pulled up. She saw how angry he looked. She went up to him and said "John B, what's wrong?" He replies "if you're here then she's over there all alone." "What? Are you talking about Oc? Rafe is at the house so she isn't." "Wow that's so much better" he says sarcastically. "You have never had a problem with it before..." "WELL NOW I DO!" He yells aggressively. Completely caught off guard, she backs up and says "whoah, calm down. What's wrong?" "What's wrong? What's wrong?! WHAT'S WRONG IS THAT YOU'RE RAPIST OF A BROTHER TRIED TO RAPE MY LITTLE SISTER!" She looks him up and down and says "call me when John B is back." Sarah gets back into her truck and she drives off. John B decides to just go get his sister but Kie and Pope stop him. She says "I think it's better if we go." He nods, hands her the keys and they drive off to get Oc.

The two pogues beat Oc there. Pope notices that Sarah's truck isn't there so he says "I don't think Sarah went back home. Do you think she believed John B?" Kie replies "he was pretty heated.. I don't think she knows what to believe." Just as the two were talking, they see Oc walking up the driveway. She looks at them and says "what are you guys doing here? I left a note." Kie replies "you can't go back to Rafe." "I'm not." Pope says "then why did you come back?" "I wanted to grab my stuff. John B made it clear last night that there was no way I was going to continue to live here. I woke up early and I was super bored so I thought a long walk would do me good." They all just look at each other in silence. "Okay then i'm gonna go inside to grab my things. You guys can just wait outside."

She's grabbing all her things from the guest room and Rafe comes to talk to her. "Hey" he says. She looks at him without any expression and says "I don't expect an apology from you. I don't expect anything at all. I get it you were drunk." "So you forgive me? We're good then?" "No. What you did was absolutely insane. You tried to rape me, Rafe. There is no forgiving that." As she walks out of the room with all her things and heads to Kie's car, he says "wait, please I just want to talk" but she ignores him and continues her way out of the house.

Kie and Popes pov

Pope says "do you think she was really just coming for her things?" "No way. If she was, she would've asked someone to come with her. She's definitely talking to Rafe." The two look up at the guest bedroom window and see the two talking. Kie says "yep. Definitely talking to Rafe." "Are you gonna tell John B and Jj?" "Yeah, I mean, It's his sister. I think he's got the right to know."

Oc comes out of the house and they all get into Kie's car. While they are driving away, they see Sarah's car pull up.

Sarah's pov

Sarah thinks to herself "what were they doing here?" "Is there any possibility that what John B said was true? Rafe is insane but he wouldn't do something like that... Would he?" She enters her house and her older brother walking down the stairs says "hey there, princess." "Hey. What were Oc and the other pogues doing here?" "Oh um I-I they um wanted uh she-Oc wanted to pick up her stuff." Entirely suspicious, she says "you did rape her didn't you." "No i-" "YEAH. YOU TRIED. SO MUCH BETTER. I cannot believe you are my brother." "Sarah wait." She walks out the house and slams the door. She gets back into her truck and drives towards the Château.

Once Kie, Pope and Oc get back to the Château, they all split up. Oc heads towards the beach, and the others go over to John B and Jj, like the little reporters they are.

John B, Jj, Kie and Popes pov

"Hey guys. How did it go?" Pope looks at John B and Jj and says "you two aren't gonna like what we've got to say." Jj says "just spit it out." Kie then says "she was talking to Rafe. We think they are still together judging how calmly they were speaking to each other." Jj gets frustrated and heads towards the beach to go talk to Oc.

Oc's pov

She's sitting calmly on the beach throwing sticks into the water, when Sarah suddenly rushes towards her. She hugs her and says "Oc I am so sorry that my brother did that to you. I had no idea and if I did I would have come so much sooner." "Thanks Sarah. I'm seriously fine. I don't think I will be seeing him anytime soon. I um moved out." "No, yeah of course I completely understand. I really need to go apologize to John B." "Yeah, go." Once Sarah leaves, Oc hears a voice say "is she gonna take you back to your rapist boyfriend?" She looks up and sees Jj. "He's not my boyfriend." "Whatever." Confused by his attitude she says "did you come all this way just to lecture me?" "No. I just find it crazy that I cheated on you and you hate me. He tried to fucking rape you, and-and you just keep going back for more. I-I don't get it." "You have got it all wrong. You cheated on me and I was hurt. He tried to Rape me and I was shocked. I am shocked. I am so shocked that I have nothing to say to say to him." "Okay so why did you go back?" "To get my shit and tell him it was over." "Oh." "Yeah." "You said you were hurt. Past tense?" "It healed with time." "Maybe i'm reading too much into this but.. friends?" She gets up and says "we're working on it." Jj smiled and watched her walk back to the Château.
