Part 9 - Midsummer's

The next day, Oc wakes up cuddled with Jj on the beach. She shakes him to wake him up and says "Jj, Jj wake up!" With his eyes barely open he says in a sleepy voice "What is it Sunny?" "We fell asleep on the beach!" He jumps up and says "crap we gotta get back, they are probably looking for us."

As the two walk towards the Chateau, they hear Sarah and John B up in the tree house laughing. A pillow falls from above and Jj catches it. Oc says while laughing "did you two sleep there last night?" The two in shock immediately climb down and start talking over each other and mumbling a bunch of stuff no one can understand. They all start laughing and walk into the house. As they are walking in, Pope and Kie walk out of the same room. Pope then says "crap" while they are all staring at the two of them. Jj says "oh shit you two too huh." Everyone laughs.

It's about 1 in the afternoon so after they all eat brunch Kie says "Um guys... so I kinda bought every single one of your midsummer outfits and i forgot to even ask if yall are going so um, everyone is going to midsummer's now..." The whole group laughs. All the girls get in Kie's car to go get ready at her house. Pope goes too, but only to grab the tuxes for the boys.

Once they arrive at Kie's house, she explains to Pope who gets what outfit: "Okay Pope i need you to listen to me carefully. John B gets the classic tux with the navy blue jacket and no tie. Jj gets full black tux with no tie. And finally, you get the classic tux with a bow. Got it?" He looks at her confused and says "I think you might need to write that down on a piece of paper.." The girls laugh.

Once Pope left and the girls finished getting ready. They called the boys to come to Kie's house so they could show them their dresses. As the girls hear the boys come in the house, they yell from Kie's bedroom to stay at the bottom of the stairs.

Kie slowly starts walking down the stairs. Her hair up in a bun with the front pieces pulled out. She has a purple flower headband that is made with real flowers that compliments her long silk flowy lilac dress. Her shoes are tall sparkling purple heels with straps coming up her shins that you can see from the small slit on the side of her leg. She goes over to Pope and hugs him. He then says "wow. You look- wow." He is completely mesmerized by her beauty.

Next, Sarah makes her way down the stairs. She has loose beachy curls with a flower crown made of tiny white flowers called baby's breath. Her white dress has a deep sweetheart neckline, dainty mesh puff sleeves, and is long and flowy. She has a slit on one side of her dress that goes all the way up to her thigh. Her heels are the color tan and have a fancy cross wrap around her toes. As she makes her way over to John B he gives her a twirl and says "you look beautiful." He is falling in love with her..

Finally, Oc walks down the stairs with her long straight silky hair. Her dress is powerful and is in the color black. It had a deep v neck and two slits along her legs all the way up to her thighs. Her black heels have one band around her toes, one around her ankles and has a block heel. She has the slightest pop of color from the rose she has around her wrist. As she goes over to Jj, he kisses her and says "I just forgot how to breathe." They all laugh and head over to Sarah's house, where the party is at.

They dance the night away and have the greatest time at the most boring party. The girls decide to go touch up their makeup in the powder room and Sarah says "Oc you and Jj don't have to pretend you aren't dating. Me and John B are together and being able to say that out loud feels so good. I think Kie and Pope can say the same." Oc lies "That's great and i'm happy for all of you, but me and Jj are really not a thing." Kie looks at her and says "We can all see you guys on the dance floor and friends don't look at friends that way."

On their way out of the washroom, Rafe is standing outside the door waiting for Oc. "Hey there baby" he says. He puts his hands on her waist and pulls her close to him. She looks at him up and down then up again and lands her eyes on his. As they are staring into each others eyes, Jj is slowly walking towards them confused. Rafe looks down at her lips and leans in to kiss her. Before he can do so, she puts her finger on his lips signaling that he should wait and she says "Rafe, Rafe, Rafe, if you don't take your hands off me in the next five seconds, you wont have hands." Kie and Sarah, are laughing at him and Jj then realizing what had just happened, smiles big and takes her hand so they can leave the party, since they have nothing more to do there.
