Amy's POV

We finished eating our burger and fries in complete silence, after which Taehyung drove me home, and we remained silent for most of the drive. But the silence didn't feel too comfortable; it was a bit awkward, so I tried to talk about some random topics to make the air friendlier.

Arriving outside my house, he turned to me and said,
"Amy, don't feel like I'm pressurizing you. But you can tell me more when you feel like it. Okay?"

"Yes, Taehyung. I will. Thank you for today. Drive back safe. Good night," I said with a smile.

"Thank you for spending time with me, Amy. Good night." He smiled brightly.

Collecting my bag, I got out of the car and watched as he drove away. Once inside my home, I saw that Jay was on the phone with Allan. So, I showered and got dressed for bed.

My mind was filled with Taehyung and his presence and words. He literally made me feel so many emotions just today. But I felt it would be inappropriate to discuss my personal life with him. At the end of the day, I was his therapist only, even though we labelled ourselves as friends. I absolutely didn't want to add more burden to his recovering mind by telling him my story.

My phone rang, and it was Taehyung calling. I answered the call at once.
"Taehyung, have you reached home safe?"

He hummed in response.
"Yeah, Amy, did you check with Jay about tomorrow?"

I raised my head from the bed and saw that Jay was still talking to Allan.
"Umm... actually she has been on the phone with Allan since I came back. So, I couldn't ask her yet."

"Oh. Who is Allan?" Taehyung was curious.

"Her boyfriend," I chuckled softly.

"Amy..." Jay called me as she entered the bedroom. "Are you speaking to someone?" Her volume lowered a little.

I mouthed Taehyung to her and signalled for her not to be too loud as I held the phone to my ear.

"Yeah, so what are we doing tomorrow, Jay?" I asked her casually, winking at her.

She seemed puzzled and whisper-asked me what she should say.

I shook my head and hands, rolling my eyes, but she caught my mind waves.
"Umm... no plans, Amy. I'm meeting Allan for lunch tomorrow. That's what I came to tell you, babe," she spoke loud enough and covered her mouth, giggling and showing thumbs up to me.

I giggled quietly and said in a fake disappointed tone, "Aww, Jay, really? I thought we were going to Gyeongbokgung tomorrow," I winked to Jay while Taehyung was still waiting silently on the other end of the call.

"I know, babe. But Allan won't be around for a week. So, we're meeting up tomorrow. I'm sorry, babe," she pretended to sound sad.

She was acting along so well. We weren't besties for no reason.

"That's okay, Jay. Have fun. I'll do my own thing," we high-fived in the air and laughed quietly as I walked out of the bedroom to the couch in the living room.

"Umm... Taehyung?" I asked him since he was totally silent.

Taehyung was quick to answer.
"Amy, I'm here. So, you're free tomorrow, right?"

"Yeah...looks like it," I chuckled.

"Great. Amy, I'll take you to Gyeongbokgung if you want to visit it. I like it there," he said, sounding all cheerful.
