Amy's POV

Taehyung drove us to a Korean takeaway place, and we ate our food in the backseat of his car.

"Taehyung... I loved it today. I missed you so much. Thank you for being with me the whole day," I leaned forward and pecked his lips.

"I wish we could always be together with no distance between us...like I want us to be really close. I really love you so much, Amy," Taehyung spoke in his deep raspy voice, as he held my hand in his and stroked it lovingly, his eyes glued to our joined hands.

My heart melted at his touch and his words.
"I love you, Taehyung," I said and cuddled up to him, both of us unable to keep our hands off of each other.

He softly ran his fingers through my hair and asked me,
"Amy, was I too rough today?"

I chuckled, losing myself in his zesty, manly scent.
"Baby, rough is nice too. If you had not started, I would've gotten rough."

He laughed softly through his nose, tenderly stroking my head and holding me safe against his chest.
"I know, right? I missed it so much. I just didn't want to waste any time."

"A whole day would still not be enough for us," I sulked and mumbled.

"What day? I think a whole lifetime wouldn't be enough," he pouted, and I snuggled up closer to him.

Bringing my face up to his, he leaned forward and our lips locked in a soft, loving kiss as I flew to the magical world where only the two of us existed.

Our bodies were in a tight hug as I rested my face against Taehyung's chest, the soft snowflakes falling all around us and landing on our faces and clothes. His heartbeats were calm, and it sounded like music in my ears. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment.

It was starting to get dark, and my phone rang with an incoming call from Jay. Sitting up, I answered the call,
"Jay?"

"Amy, are you outside, babe?" She sounded tired.

"Yeah, what happened? Are you back home?" I asked her while Taehyung kissed along my jaw, breathing on my neck and making my toes curl and my skin bristle, his fingertips delicately tracing along my upper arm.

It was hard to stop myself from emitting a moan, yet I had to hold back.

"Yeah, babe. I'm having a headache. Can you pick up something for dinner?" Jay asked, and I lightly waved my hand at Taehyung to stop doing whatever he was doing.

"Jay, listen. I'll come home and cook for you. There are pills in my drawer. It's safe to take on an empty stomach. Just take one and lie down, and I'll be there in thirty minutes, okay?" I asked her, and she agreed, after which I ended the call and looked at Taehyung.

"Taehyung, if you don't mind it, can you drop me back at home? Jay isn't feeling well," I informed him, feeling sorry for being the cause of the disappointed look on his face.

"Okay, baby," he nodded with a small smile.

I held his hand in mine, squeezing it gently.
"I'm sorry, baby. I really want to be with you longer..."

"We can meet any time, Amy. Cheer up. I'm not traveling anywhere for the rest of this year," he said sweetly and ruffled my hair.

That was indeed a comforting thing to hear. We both shifted to the front seats and Taehyung dropped me back home. I kissed him and got down, waving to him as he drove away.

June 28, 2020

More than a week passed, and Taehyung and I spoke every day and texted a lot. We only kept talking about getting back together again, and at the end of the week, on Sunday, we both planned to meet up and visit the Han River together. It was a last-minute plan since Jay and Allan had suddenly decided to go on a movie date.

Taehyung came over and picked me up. Dressed in a long-sleeved blue Gucci hoodie, loose pants and his slip-ons and mask—he looked dashing as always, and his eyes sparkled, I just couldn't stop ogling at him as he drove.

"Taehyung, you look so good today. How have you been?" I asked, my eyes shamelessly thirsting over his beautiful fingers.

"Really?" He blushed, and my eyes followed his fingers as they moved to his face, and he took off his mask. "I've been doing good, Amy. I ate well, slept well, and I also feel a lot better about myself. I made a v-log with Tannie, and I'm signing up some ad contracts as well. I told you I was in a meeting a couple of nights ago, remember?" He asked, his eyes briefly meeting mine before shifting back to the road ahead of us.

"Yeah, I remember. That's so good to hear. I'm so happy that you're doing well and staying healthy. It makes me so happy to see you happy," I smiled at him, my hand moving on its own accord and landing on his lap.

"It's all because of you, Amy. You make me want to be a better man. I love you," he said in a soft voice.

I smiled, giving a slight squeeze on his thigh.
"I love you more, Taehyung."

We reached the Han River and Taehyung parked his car in a secluded corner. Wearing his mask and sunglasses, he pulled the hoodie over his head and stepped out. Even though his disguise was near perfect, his GUCCI clothes that screamed 'rich' were making some heads turn. We walked for a while holding hands, reveling in the beauty of the moment. The weather was calm, the place was serene, and everything seemed just too perfect to be real.

At that perfect moment, I wished I could freeze time.

Lacing my fingers through his slender ones, I held his hand tighter as we walked and spoke about a lot of things. We laughed a lot too. The day was so perfect, just like him. I realized over and again that I loved him so much, more than words could ever describe.

Taehyung's POV

Amy and I visited the Han River today, and I was so happy we did. We had been talking about doing this ever since we began dating.

It had been so long since we went on a long walk and spoke heart to heart about things we otherwise wouldn't speak about, and the last time we did that was on our first Sunday date, even before we began dating. I wished I could spend more time by her side.

Should I ask her to stay with me for a few days?

As we walked back to the car, I turned to face her.
"Baby, can you stay with me tonight?"

"Tonight? What happened?" She was curious, her eyebrows knitted as she kept moving away the flying hair strands that wanted to keep kissing her.

"I don't want to let you go yet. I want to be with you... I want to make love to you and cuddle to sleep with you." I said shamelessly and looked into her eyes.

Amy blushed and looked down at her feet, nodding.
"Okay," she agreed without much delay, and then her eyes lifted to meet my eager ones that never wanted to look at anything but her.
