Amy's POV

A week passed, and there were very few texts from Taehyung, but he was all over the media with lots of interviews and promotions for the movie release. I slept wearing his cardigan every night until Jay returned home today, and, thankfully, once she returned, I didn't feel so lonely anymore.

Jay settled her things down, showered and threw herself on the couch. It was late in the evening, and the weather was starting to get cold outside.

"Amy, sit down, babe. Feels like ages since I met you," she said and patted the spot next to her on the couch.

"Yeah, Jay, I missed you," I said as I walked over and bear-hugged her, plopping myself on the couch next to her.

"How have you been, Amy?" She asked me, and I smiled eagerly, waiting to spill the beans to her.

"A lot happened, babe..." I sat cross-legged and narrated everything to Jay and found myself blushing furiously.

As I spoke, Jay's expressions morphed from stunned to giggling to blushing, and, finally, her eyes teared up.

"Amy... I'm so happy right now. I'm so happy for you, babe. You deserve the world. Taehyung will be the best boy," she shook my hands and spoke as her happy tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Yeah, he will be the best boy for me. I can't believe it all happened," I smiled, still unable to wrap my head around the fact that the Superstar of Korea was my boyfriend now.

She wiped off her tears and spoke calmly,
"Good things happen to good people. But there will be a lot of separation, and I hope you both get through it strong," Jay dropped some truth bombs which were already attacking me from the inside.

I nodded slowly.
"I hope we do... it's how things will be. How have you been, Jay? How was Hong Kong?"

She bobbed her head leaning back on the sofa.
"Work at Hong Kong was amazing. I was busy but managed to look around a few places and do some shopping too."

"That's great... how are things with you and Allan?" I asked her, and she chuckled.

"We're doing great, Amy. I'll be seeing him at work tomorrow," her cheeks turned a cute shade of pink. "How long will Taehyung be away?" She quizzed me.

"Umm... no idea. Maybe until Christmas? I don't know," I shrugged, suddenly starting to miss Taehyung.

"Ahh...that's a long time. I hope you guys will meet on his birthday or at least talk over the phone," Jay sounded concerned.

"I hope so too. He'll call me when he's free," I smiled sadly.

Jay handed me the presents she bought for me, and then we ate a light dinner and slept—me wearing his cardigan over my clothes.

Taehyung's POV

"Manager hyung, one more thing. I need one extra pass for the premiere and the after party. Can you arrange for it?" I asked him doubtfully while pacing the length of my living room, nervously running my fingers through my hair.

My parents would be there for the premiere. My close buddies would be there. But most of all, I wanted Amy to be there. She didn't yet know that I was planning to get her to watch the movie premiere. I was not even sure if she would be okay to attend it. I wanted to try anyway.

"Sure, why not. I'll send it across in a while," he replied casually.

"That's great!" A breath of relief escaped my lips.
