Amy's POV

Taehyung and I left the resort and got into the car headed to the airport.

Never before in my life have I had so many memories with just one person in one place...we made lots of love and lots more memories here. I wish we could come back here some day and re-live our beautiful days.

Taehyung's hands never left mine for even a brief second, right from the moment we stepped out of our room. His fingers intertwined with mine, and he was holding on tight to it like a 3-year old. I couldn't take my eyes off him—he looked so handsome dressed in simple plain clothes, and his hair was shiny black and silky. Wearing his mask and sunglasses, Taehyung looked like a hot prince in disguise.

Taehyung instructed the driver to head to the airport and made a phone call to ensure that the private jet was ready. I sat there, resting my chin on my upturned palm and adoring him, feeling lucky, thankful and undeniably proud.

"All set... we'll fly at 5:30 sharp," he smiled at me, his eyes crinkling into cute crescents.

We took off our masks and sunglasses, and I comforted myself onto Taehyung's side, resting my head on his strong shoulder, the familiar feeling that I didn't want to experience any more—the painful feeling of missing him—already strangling my chest.

Unaware of the tormented state of my mind,
"Baby, I am suddenly craving ice-cream," Taehyung pouted and pushed his hair back from his forehead.

What is he so cute for?

"We can get some on the way, baby," I said, sitting up and cheering him.

Just then, I spotted a Baskin Robbins outlet on the opposite side of the road a little ahead of us.

"Taehyung, there's an ice-cream store there. Tell the driver to pull over here," I said, hurriedly grabbing my phone and stuffing some cash inside the back pocket of my jeans.

"We can make a turn at the signal and go there," he said calmly, slightly chuckling at my reaction on spotting the ice-cream store.

"No, it seems a bit crowded there, baby. I don't think you can come. Just pull over here. I'll quickly go grab an ice-cream for you," I replied confidently.

Taehyung chuckled and told the driver to pull over. The car stopped a little ahead of the ice-cream store on the opposite side of the road.

"What flavour, baby?" I threw open the door and quickly checked before jumping out.

"Mint-choco, double scoop," he said and flashed his bright boxy smile, his eyes twinkled.

Smiling, I showed him thumbs up and headed out closing the door behind me.

Author's POV

Taehyung watched as Amy jogged along, crossed the road and disappeared into the store. He waited and watched, his eyes fixated on the store entrance, waiting for her to come out.

Pulling out his phone, he texted her.

Tae:
Missing you already ☹

He was staring at his mobile screen and smiling at his cheesiness when Amy exited the store with the takeaway bag in her hand, but he didn't see her.

Amy's phone beeped with Taehyung's text. Pulling out her phone, she read his text, blushing and smiling to herself as she began typing out a reply.

Taehyung leaned back in his seat and briefly closed his eyes, picturing them as a married couple in front of a warm little snow cottage, replicating in life-size the scene inside the snowglobe. His lips curved into a smile.
