Chapter 18

Tony woke up and checked on Thor, who still was unconscious. "Grace? Hello?", he yelled. Suddenly he saw blood on the floor. Shocked he followed the trail and saw the stranger laying on the ground, dead. "God damn it Grace, where are you?", he whispered. A peace of paper fell down on the floor. "Sorry for the incident, I have to do something on my own. See you soon and stay safe. -Grace.", he read out loud. In the meantime Thor woke up and walked over to Tony. "Where's the kid?", he asked. Tony looked at him and said: "Gone. Come on, we need to go back, who knows what the others are struggling with."

Gamora and Quill are in the jet on their way back to earth. She sat in a corner looking at the soul stone, while he was sitting in the front guiding the ship. "Hey, how are you doing?", he asked. Gamora didn't answer and didn't move. "Come on, you've got to talk to me at some point." She stood up, went to a capsule, started it and flew away. Quill stood up and screamed: "Hey, Gamora! Come back, don't leave me! You've got the soul stone!" She looked at him with hate and disappeared in the dark.

Steve turned around and waited for Doctor Strange to come, but the portal already closed. In front of him where Clint and Natasha. "Good to see you again.", Natasha said. Steve smiled and hugged her. "Strange said, Loki wanted to talk to me. What's it all about?", he asked. Both shrugged with their shoulders. "It's the only thing he is saying.", Clint said. Steve walked down the stairs stopped in front of the cell. "Well look who it is, the puppet came to my call.", Loki said. "What do you want Loki?", Steve asked. "Coming right to the point, I like it. Here's the deal: You let me out of my cell, come with me and will do exactly what I say." Steve laughed. "And why would I do that?" Loki grinned at him. "Because your beloved Grace will only suffer if you don't. I've seen the symbol on your wrist." Steve walked up to the glass of the cell. "Don't you dare say her name. You are in a cell, you can't hurt her and no one will.", he said aggressively. "Am I really here? See your girlfriend was more clever, because she never came this close." Loki snapped with his finger and suddenly Steve saw Clint in the cell. "Shit!", Steve said, which was followed by a scream. Loki had stabbed him in the side. "Told you to let me go, but looks like you people make the same mistakes over and over again." Steve fell to the ground passed out.

"What is happening?", Bucky asked. Doctor Strange turned to him. "No time to explain. We need to protect the stones at all cost." Three other little space ships arrived. Tony, Thor, Rocket, Drax, Groot and Quill walked out of them. "Need a little help here?", Tony asked. "All the help we can get.", Strange replied. Suddenly a beam appeared from the big spaceship to the ground. A tall man showed up, wearing a huge glove. He walked towards a rock and sat down. "What is he doing?", Rocket asked. "He's waiting.", Strange answered.
