A few days have passed now and the Avengers are preparing for the upcoming fight. "So we've got the time and mind stone, the rest is in Thanos hands. We need to protect these two stones at all cost and need to destroy the other ones.", Tony said. "Can we destroy them tho?", Natasha asked. "Well Thanos wants to use the stones to kill half the universe, so we need to get them and then someone has to snap, right?", Grace replied while looking at Doctor Strange, who quietly sat in the corner. He looked up and nodded. "That's the only possible way. Someone has to snap." Grace stood up and went outside getting some fresh air, Steve followed her. "A penny for your thoughts?" She started laughing. "Always making me smile, Rogers." She pulled him close, resting her head on his chest, looking at the horizon. " Someone has to sacrifice themselves, it's the only way and I'm scared, because it means someone has to die." Steve looked at her. "Not necessarily. We don't know what the effects will be." "Steve, these are the most powerful stones in the universe, combined all together they set free a huge amount of power. A snap would kill the person." He took a deep breath. "We'll figure it out, my Love." Grace looked at him surprised. "My Love?", she asked with a grin on her face. He let out a laughter, nodded and they shared a long kiss. Suddenly the sky darkened as they saw a huge ship. "Oh my god, he's here.", Grace said. They both walked inside. "He's here, suit up everyone.", Steve said. Minutes later everyone was ready for the fight, the streets of New York empty, people already felt something was off. With portals Strange brought the Avengers and also the Wakandans where Ready to fight. Thanos stepped out of his ship alone walking over to them. "I see which side you chose, Grace. Although I am giving you a last chance to make it up to me. Hand over the stones and I will free you from your suffering.", he said. Grace walked over to him. "What would I earn, if I would give you the stones? I'm not afraid of you or your little minions.", as she pointed to Loki and Gamora. "Beat his ass twice already." Thanos grabbed her by the throat and put her up, the Avengers immediately put up their guns. "Hey big guy, why don't you let her down and we can handle this.", Tony said. Thanos grip got stronger and Grace nearly lost her breath. "Any last words?", he said while looking into her eyes." "You should've gone for the head." Her eyes turned green and with her hands she formed daggers out of the floor, which trapped him and made him scream out in pain. Suddenly an army got released from the ship. "Avengers.... Assemble.", Steve said and they ran toward the Army, fighting them. Grace still stood in front of Thanos, who tried to get out, but Graces powers where too strong. "You took everything from me. My life, my memories and then you tried to kill my family and still..." she tilted her head. Thanos smiled. "Good girl." Grace released the daggers and ran towards Doctor Strange. "Grace, what are you doing?", Steve screamed as he saw that Thanos was free. She didn't responded and knocked Strange out grabbing the time stone and then pulled out the Mind stone of her pocket. "Kid, what are you doing?", Tony asked. She pulled him against a wall with her powers. "I trusted you, I forgave you!", he shouted. With no emotions she walked over to Thanos, who had the glove on, only missing two stones. She gave him the two stones and he placed it in the right position. "I am inevitable." But before he could snap, Another stone showed up in Graces hand, pulling on top of the other six. She looked Thanos dead in the eye and said:" It's showtime."
