Chapter 28

A week has passed since the funeral and everything has been going quite. It was a Saturday morning when Grace woke up, stretched herself and looked over to her right. Steve was still sleeping peacefully while some sunbeams where meeting his hair. She stared at him and smiled. Grace was happy with her little family. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. She stood up and opened the door. "Is it a bad time? I'll come later if you want me to.", Natasha said. Grace shook her head. "No, it's fine, Steve's still asleep. You've got the test?" Natasha nodded and grabbed a pregnancy test out of her pocket. "Are you sure you want to do this?" "Not really, but what choice do I have... I mean I am feeling nauseous and can't eat everything so it has to be that." "Good luck.", Natasha responded and smiled at her. Grace shut the door and walked into the bathroom. Then she heard a grumble from the bed. "Grace?", Steve said in his Morning voice. "In the bathroom." , she replied. She hid the rest and walked into the bedroom again. "Rise and shine Darling.", she said as she jumped on the bed. He hugged her. "Did you sleep well?" Grace nodded. "Are you excited for our trip this weekend? We'll stay at Tony's cabine in the woods so no one can bother us." "Oh yes!", she said out loud and put her hands into the air. She giggled and then looked at Steve again. "You are so beautiful.", he mumbled. "Well thank you Captain, but it's morning so don't expect me to look good then.", she replied sarcastically. They both laughed. "You always are beautiful." "You are making me blush Rogers." They stared at each other. "Tickle attack!", Steve yelled and started tickling her. "Stop! Steven Grant Rogers you stop that or it won't end well for you!" She wanted to tease him with her powers a little but suddenly a huge energy ball was coming out of her hand and fired against the wall behind Steve. He looked at her in shock. "I- I'm sorry, I couldn't control it.", Grace stuttered. Another ball of energy build up again. "Grace, stop it.", he said concerned. "I can't!", she yelled. As she realised that the ball is going to hit Steve she turned around and faced the other wall, releasing a huge amount of energy. She fell to the ground and saw that her veins are getting green for a second, but went back to normal again. Steve immediately ran to her and held her. "Hey, are you okay?", he asked. Grace shook her head. "Come on lets go to Bruce." "No, just give me a minute, I need to go to the bathroom. You go ahead, I'll come soon, just need to take a shower and I'll come then." Steve frowned. "I don't like you being alone." She kissed him and stood up. "Trust me, Im fine for now. You can go." After a while he nodded and said:" I'll tell the others." As soon as he walked out Grace ran into the bathroom and made the pregnancy test. The minutes felt like hours to her. "Please be positive, please be positive...." As the result showed up, she started crying. "Grace, are you coming?", Steve shouted. She wiped away her tears. "Coming!" She threw away the test, wiped away the tears and walked down to the others.

*Hey people, sorry I didn't upload for a while, but school is really tough for me right now, got a lot of test and exams going on. There will be a new part tomorrow, maybe even two.
