Starlight

Chapter One

Tauriels POV
Stars. I had finished guarding the north border and had decided that i needed relax for a while. So i had decided to go star gazing in my favourite tree. It was a large oak and one of the tallest trees in Mirkwood, the best for watching stars. Suddenly i heard a crunch, very much like the sound dry leaves make when someone steps on them. I notched an arrow in my bow, getting ready to shoot when i heard a voice come from below me "Tauriel" i knew that voice anywhere. I climbed down quickly and saw my life long best friend Legolas. " Where have you been mellon?" he questioned "I was watching the stars," i said in a dreamy tone. He smiled and pulled his daggers out from their sheaths. "Would you like to spare?" he said, i smiled and said "Are you sure? I dont want to hurt you," he frowned then smirked " Well then captain, if you dont want me to get hurt maybe you should spare me so i can improve my skills," i smiled and prepared my daggers. As always Legolas made the first move and went for my left side. Our fight continued until i had disarmed both of his daggers, vice versa. We started wrestling, i was straddling his hips with my own and i beant down to whisper in his ear "I win." Then suddenly he flipped us over and he was pinning me down and holding my hands above my head. "Now I'm winning" he said in my ear. I could feel his hot breath in my ear and it sent shivers down my spine. I looked into his ocean blue eyes that i got lost in so easily, then i felt his lips on mine. I kissed back eagerly and i felt his tongue asking for entrance and i granted it. We finally broke the kiss when we needed air. He put his forhead against mine and blue met green. "You dont know how long ive wanted to do that," he said breathlessly. I chuckled quietly and rolled over, i laced my fingers with his. Then something dawned on me "Your father will never permit this," i said slowly. He froze and spoke softly " I dont care what ada has to say about this," he rolled over so he was looking at me "i love you, i have loved you since we where elflings, i loved everything about you, your hair that reminded my of the leaves in autumn, your forest green eyes and your firey spirit, i love you and only you Tauriel." he said in finality and i couldn't aswer him, so i kissed him. I reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and looked him in the eye and said "I love you too."
