chapter seventeen

Tauriel POV
"Tauriel, please tell me the whole story." Legolas asked, I knew I couldn't hide it anymore. "When I was with the orcs, after Nellathiel left. The head orc tied me to a chair, and he had a dagger which had been dipped into a bowl of slow killing poison. He cut me with it, and now its in my blood stream and the treatment is not working so far." I said, he looked shocked and did not say any thing for a while "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked I sighed "The head orc wanted everyone around me to suffer as they watched me slowly die, so I figured if I didn't tell anyone they wouldn't suffer," I said. He nodded and pulled me flush against him. "We should probably get back" said Legolas, I nodded and I was about to stand up when I was swept up by Legolas. "Put me down Legolas!" I yelled he shook his head and I knew it was useless. He carried me all the way to my chambers. When we reached my chambers instead of putting me down he kicked the door open and layed me down on my bed. His arms were above my head supporting his weight, he was looking into my eyes and then he kissed me. I kissed him back and he deepened the kiss. I flipped us over so I was on top of him and continued kissing him. The kiss started out loving and sweet, but now it was a full tongue war, which neither of us were winning. I pulled away, out of breath. "I love you" he said, I smiled "and I love you too," I said in return. He pulled me into his arms and started stroking my hair soothingly. I was just about to fall asleep when my stomach lurched. I jumped out of Legolas grip, startling him while doing it and ran to the bathroom. I made it just in time and vomited up my lunch and dinner. Then as usual the coughing started and by then Legolas had reached the bathroom he walked over to as soon as my coughing fit was over and embraced me as I sobbed into his chest. He carried me to the bed and layed down next to me. I soon fell asleep.
