Miley's POV
I just got to Nashville about an hour ago and I was at my house on FaceTime with Liam.
"How was your flight?" Liam asks.
"Like all the others."
"Right. So when are you gonna go-"
"Can we not talk about it right now? I'm sorry for interrupting you but I don't feel like crying."
"That's okay...wanna say hi to the boys?"
"Of course." I answer.
"Boys, come say hi to mom." When all the boys appeared on the screen I smiled.
"Hi mom." They all say in unison.
"Hi guys, how's your time with dad?"
"Fun, we went to the movies yesterday. We all played some soccer today so Ben could practice. We're gonna go swimming tomorrow since dad played baseball with Jo a couple days ago."
"Sounds like you're all having a great time."
"Mommy why do you look sad?" Bentley asks me.
"Uhm..."
"She's not sad, she's just a little tired from the flight Ben. How about you guys go decide what I make for dinner?"
"Okay." After they walk away I sigh and nod.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. I'm sad too you know, I never forget."
"I know, I never said you did."
"Just because I don't go doesn't mean I don't care."
"We're dealing with it differently just like we both agreed on, it's fine Liam." I reply.
"I'm gonna make dinner for the boys, then after we'll watch a movie. I'm gonna call back later after the boys are in bed."
"You don't have to do that."
"I don't care, tomorrow is gonna be a hard day for you and me both. I kinda wanted to talk about it."
"I kinda do too but I know it'll make me cry."
"Sometimes a good cry is what we need." I nod in agreement. "Okay I'm gonna go, I'll call back in a bit."
"Have a good dinner."
"Will do, bye Miley."
"Bye."
I hung up the phone and set it down. Part of me didn't wanna talk to Liam because I'm already emotional, but another part of me wanted to talk to him about it.
11 PM
I was watching TV when my phone started to ring. I looked at it and it was Liam calling. I don't know what it was, but something about him calling me made me smile when I saw who it was.
"Hey." I answer.
"Hey. I didn't know whether you wanted to FaceTime or not but I did anyway. If you just wanna call that's fine, I can hang up and call back."
"FaceTime is fine Liam. How'd the boys go to bed? Hopefully they didn't cause too much trouble."
"No, they were all pretty tired. After the movie Ben was practically asleep and the other two said they were tired and ready for bed." He answers.
