Miley's POV
"Hey Ben, tomorrow is your birthday. Are you excited?" I say, walking into Bentley's room.
"Yeah! I'm gonna be eight!"
"I know, isn't that exciting?"
"Very exciting! Is daddy gonna be here?"
"Of course he'll be here, it's your birthday. Your dad wouldn't miss that."
"He missed Cam's." Bentley says, reminding me of Liam's stupid fuck up that pissed me off for a long time.
"Well that was one time, he just had something going on he forgot about. But he made it up to him. Don't worry Ben, I talked to dad and he's gonna be here."
"Can I invite my friends?"
"Of course you can, it's your birthday."
"Jo said he'd stay in his room the whole time my friends are here."
"Why would he do that?" I ask.
"Jo said he doesn't wanna be around a bunch of little kids cause he's a teenager now."
"Well Jo will have to deal with it. Besides, Alena and Valentina will be here so Jo can hang out with Alena and Cam can hang out with Valentina."
"Thanks mommy."
"You're welcome." I hear my phone ringing from the kitchen so I got up and walked to Bentley's door. "You have fun playing, I'm gonna go answer my phone."
"Okay."
"Hey Kevin." I say, answering the phone.
"Hey Miley."
"What's up?"
"Not much, Danielle is out shopping today and I've got the girls. Alena was asking to see Jonah and Valentina wanted to see Cameron."
"Oh well come over then, the boys are all home."
"Okay great. We're at the park now so we're on our way over."
"Great, see you soon."
I hang up and walk to Jonah's room and knock.
"Come in." Jonah says. I walk in to see him on his bed scrolling through his phone, and Cameron on Jonah's bed playing a video game.
"What are you boys doing?"
"I'm reading, Cam is playing a game. I said he can play as long as he doesn't scream at the TV."
"Fun."
"Did you need something mom?"
"I just wanted to let you know Kevin will be here soon. He's bringing Alena and Valentina." I answer.
"Really? Cool."
"They're at the park now so they'll be here soon."
"Should I stop playing?" Cameron asks after pausing his game.
"Well Valentina wanted to see you so I'd like you to."
"Okay, I'm at a hard part anyway. I don't wanna get mad before they get here."
"Good idea Cam. I'll leave you two, I'll let you know when they get here."
"Thanks mom."
"You're welcome Jo."
While I sat in the living room texting Leah I waited for Kevin and the girls. It wasn't too long of a wait since they were at the park. The doorbell rang and I opened the door and smiled.
