Miley's POV
I woke up in my bed in my pajamas. I sat up and instantly remembered what happened last night. Fuck...why did I do that? Priyanka will hate me even more now, and I'm dating Leah for christ sake. She's an amazing woman and doesn't deserve to be cheated on. Why do I have to ruin everything?
I walked out of my room and down to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I noticed Nick eating already and he waved at me.
"Hey Miley, how'd you sleep?" Nick asks.
"Uh...I slept okay...and you?"
"I slept great. You were right, your beds are a lot more comfortable than any hotel's. I hope you don't mind I made myself some breakfast."
"No it's fine, don't worry. Uh...about last night..." I say nervously.
"Did I keep you awake? Was the TV too loud?"
"What?"
"Isn't that what you were gonna say?"
"No you- you didn't wake me. Um...what'd you watch last night?"
"Just a movie, I wasn't up too long." He answers.
"A movie?"
"Yeah." I stop and pause- if he only watched a movie...
"Oh thank God, it was a dream..." I say, exhaling a huge sigh of relief.
"Did you have a really realistic dream or something?"
"Yeah, I guess you could say that. I'm uh, I'm gonna make some breakfast."
"Okay. I'm done so I'll clean up my mess. I'm gonna go shop around for some gifts for the kids, wanna join me after you eat?"
"No you go ahead. I'm gonna stay here."
"Everything okay?" He asks.
"Yeah everything's fine, I'm just gonna call Noah in a bit."
"Okay, I'll see you later then."
"Bye."
After Nick was gone and I was done with breakfast I got my phone to text Noah. Hopefully she isn't busy...
Miley: hey Noah are you busy?
Noah: no why
Miley: we need to talk. Are you alone?
Noah: yeah, is it important?
Miley: very
Noah: ok I'm free at the moment
I dialed Noah's number and waited for her to pick up.
"Noah we were literally just texting, why did you wait to pick it up?"
"I don't know, I don't like answering it on the first ring."
"Okay fine whatever. We need to talk."
"What's up?" Noah asks.
"You're sure you're alone?"
"Yes Miley, I'm sure."
"So Nick is here...alone."
"Nick is in Nashville with you?"
"Yes." I confirm. "He showed up yesterday."
"Why?"
"He came to give me some company and support. Normally I wanna be alone during this time but for some reason I didn't mind him being here."
