Miley's POV
"Miley, hey, Miley." Nick says quietly. I open my eyes and he was in the same position as when I fell asleep.
"Was I talking in my sleep?"
"Yeah, I think you were having a bad dream. Are you okay?"
"I'll be okay, I was just dreaming about Jolene."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry, it wasn't a completely bad dream. I enjoy seeing her in my dreams once in a while cause that's how I can remember her." I reply.
"What was your dream about? If you don't mind me asking."
"Her first birthday. She only had three months of life with us but I could still picture her first birthday."
"Was she cute?"
"Of course. She had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes..."
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks.
"I'll be fine, I just need to get myself some lunch."
"Wanna go out for pizza or something?"
"That actually sounds good, yeah."
Once Nick and I arrived to a pizza place and got sat down we ordered. We just decided to share one pizza since it's just the two of us.
"Aren't you worried about someone seeing us together?" I ask Nick, he reacts with a puzzled face.
"No, why would I? Miley, you're acting like what we're doing is wrong, we aren't doing anything wrong. We're two friends going out to lunch together. We've been friends for forever, we can have lunch together without it being considered a date."
"I know I know, but you know the media- they always make some bullshit up to get people to buy their magazines and shit."
"Priyanka will know we're just hanging out."
"She may know that but she might think otherwise..."
"Well, she can just...she can deal with it." Nick replies, followed by a sigh.
"What's wrong?"
"Can you keep what I'm about to tell you secret?"
"Of course Nick, always."
"Here you go." The waiter says, giving us our pizza. "Enjoy." After he walked off I nodded.
"Go ahead."
"Priyanka and I...well, we've been talking about adopting a baby. Priyanka and I want another one but we can't have anymore biological kids. So we've been talking about adopting." Nick says, I react with a smile.
"Aw, Nick that's great. That's totally cool, Aria and Luca will be great big siblings."
"Yeah, I'm sure they would. Except Priyanka kinda changed her mind."
"What? Why?"
"Because we've been having some problems..."
"What kind of problems?" I ask.
"Marital problems. She doesn't want another baby if we're fighting all the time, which makes sense and I completely agree with her on that."
"Why have you been fighting? I mean, if you don't wanna get into that then it's okay, but I'm curious."
"I don't really wanna talk about why..."
"Can I just make one guess? And will you tell me if I'm right?" Nick nods in response. "Is it me? Because we've been spending so much time together?" Nick pauses and sighs.
