Miley's POV
I woke up to my alarm ringing. I shut it off and sat up. I can't believe that happened last night. I looked around the room and Nick was gone, I looked under the covers. How the fuck am I wearing pajamas? I fell asleep with Nick right after we finished...I got up and walked into Jonah's room.
"Jo, time to get up. Your dad is taking you to school today, remember?"
"Yeah I remember." Jonah yawns and gets out of bed.
"What do you want for breakfast?"
"It's okay, I'm just gonna get myself some cereal." He says as we walk into the kitchen.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah I'm sure."
"I'm gonna make myself some oatmeal, do you want some of that?" I reply.
"Well that does sound good. Sure. I'm gonna go get dressed."
After Jonah came back into the kitchen I was filling our bowls with the oatmeal. I handed him a bowl and he and I sat down at the table.
"Do you know what time dad's coming to pick me up?" Jonah asks.
"Nope, no idea. I'll text him after I'm done eating. You should be getting ready to go though after you're done eating, just in case he shows up early."
"I am ready. I'm dressed, I'm eating breakfast, I combed my hair, and I've got my homework in my backpack."
"Shit did you even do your homework yesterday?"
"I did it with Cam and Ben when we were at dad's. Cam needed help with his math. Dad did alright helping him but you do it best."
"That's because I'm used to doing it." I say.
"So are you feeling okay today?"
"Mhm. I mean I haven't completely gotten over it yet but I'm starting to feel better."
"That's good. Now I can go to school and not worry about you."
"You shouldn't ever worry about me Jo, I'm perfectly fine taking care of myself."
"I know but with what happened I just wanna make sure you're doing alright. That way I won't have to worry today." He explains.
"I understand. Okay I'm gonna take my bowl and after I'm done with it I'll text your dad."
"Let me take the bowls mom."
"What? Why?"
"Then you can text dad. I can take care of the bowls, I have before."
"Alright fine, here ya go." I gave Jonah my bowl and he walked to the sink with both of our bowls.
I walked into the living room and sat down. I took out my phone and pulled up my conversation with Liam.
Miley: are the boys ready? What time will you be picking up Jo?
Liam: yeah they're ready. Just finishing breakfast
Miley: well I don't want them to be late
Liam: I know, we're gonna leave after Cam and Ben are done eating
Miley: ok I'll let Jo know
Liam: see you soon
Miley: yup
