Miley's POV
Leah and I were currently hanging out together, just walking around the park. We've been going out but we haven't really put a label on our relationship. I've been a little hesitant on calling her my girlfriend but she respects it which I'm thankful for.
"Today is a really nice day." Leah says, I nod in agreement.
"Yeah it is." I hear my phone go off and I look at it. "Jonah texted me, hold on."
Jonah: mom can I hang out after school at the library with my friends Charlie and Nate?
Miley: are you gonna be with your brothers?
Jonah: I was hoping I could just be alone with my friends. Please?
Miley: yeah sure, I'll make sure your brothers are picked up after school. Don't be out too late please, be back in time for dinner
Jonah: I won't. Thanks mom bye
Miley: bye
I sigh after putting my phone away.
"Everything okay?" Leah asks me.
"Yeah everything is fine. Jo just wanted to stay after school with a couple friends."
"He's been doing that a lot lately."
"Yeah. Ever since he turned thirteen he's been wanting more freedom, which I said he could have. I told him once he was thirteen if he wanted to hang out after school without his brothers he could as long as I know where he is. Before he was just allowed to be with his brothers, not alone. But we made a deal, so now he has more freedom." I explain.
"Oh gotcha. So are you gonna pick up Bentley and Cameron then?" I look at the time and sigh. I really didn't wanna end our date but it was almost time to pick up the boys.
"Damn, I really don't wanna have to go. I'm having a really nice time."
"I am too but you have your kids, it's fine Miley."
"I'm gonna ask Liam if he can take the boys. That way he can have them for the weekend too."
"Okay." I called Liam and almost instantly he answered.
"Hey Miley." Liam answers.
"Hey that was quick."
"I had my phone in my hand."
"Okay well I've got a question. Could you pick up the boys after school? That way you can have them for the weekend."
"Yeah sure, I can do that."
"Oh but only Cam and Ben, Jo is staying after school with a couple friends at the library." I say.
"So should I pick Jo up later then? It's a little longer of a walk to my house, I don't live as close there."
"Yeah, you should text Jo and let him know you'll be picking him up. Just let him tell you when he wants to go home though, I told him he could hang out after school and I didn't give him a time limit as long as it's before dinner."
"Noted, thank you."
"Thank you for picking them up."
"Are you out with Leah?" He asks.
"Maybe..."
"You don't have to feel bad, if you wanna hang out with her longer that's completely fine, I can't tell you when you can and can't be with her."
