Lily's P.O.V

"Lily ! Baby please answer me!" I groaned and rolled over and gasped at the burning sensation I was feeling. I opened my eyes revealing flames and smoke. Everything hit me all at once. Ryan. Rape. Burning Barn. Baby. Tears streamed down my face as I crawled to ladder, holding my belly with one hand.

"Baby please, please." The frantic voice called again, I closed my eyes and cried. Landon. He found me.

"Landon! !" I yelled before crawling the last inch to see him standing at the entrance where the ladder use to be, but is now a pile of ash.

"Thank God ! We have to leave, the barn is going to collapse. " He yelled coughing between words. I nodded, but there was no way I could get down without breaking something.

"I can't get down. I am stuck!" I frantically screamed. My heart rate pounding in my chest, my belly constricting. I hissed in pain and held my tummy.

"Lil, I know your scared, but you have to jump. Do you trust me?" He questioned holding his arms up, I couldn't sit here and just burn to death. I had to jump

"With my life. " I spoke my voice thick with emotion and smoke. He motioned me with his hands to jump. I stood up and closed my eyes. I jumped and felt the air rush through my hair. Arms wrapped around me catching me. We landed on the floor and Landon groaned. My hands still wrapped around my belly, my eyes squeezed shut, and my body trembling with fear.

"I got you baby. Your safe. I got you." Landon cooed in my ear. He stood up and ran out of the crumbling barn, right when we exited the barn came crashing down. I cried tears of relief.

"LILY, LANDON!" I heard multiple voices scream. I opened my eyes to see fire trucks everywhere along with ambulances'. The firefighters were trying to save the barn, but it was long gone. The paramedics rushed to us. Landon laid me on the ground and held my hand. I was coughing so hard, I started to cough up blood. Landon looked scared. He was coughing but he told the paramedic's to help me.

"Do you have any pain." The male paramedic asked. I pointed to my stomach, to weak to talk. He lifted my shirt revealing a huge burn, cuts, and bruises across my stomach.

"We need to get her to a hospital. You are going to be just fine. " He spoke, while he and another paramedic lifted me onto a gernie. Landon never once let go of my hand

"Sir are you alright?" A woman asked him, he shook her off

"I am fine. We need to get my wife to a hospital to make sure she and the baby are okay." He spoke his voice deeper than normal. They shut us in the ambulance and took off towards the hospital.

"Ryan, where is Ryan." I whispered looking up at the ceiling of the car. I wasn't asking anyone in particular.

"The young male died at the scene a beam collapsed on him and cracked his spine. I am sorry for your lose." Matt the paramedic spoke softly.

"No, don't be sorry. "I spoke emotionless. I wanted to be happy that he died, but a part of me felt sad because he was my friend all these years. I looked over to Landon, who's face was all black and his bright green eyes were filled with worry. His knees bouncing up and down at a fast pace. I place a hand on his knee, which made him stop bouncing. He gave me a weak smile and placed his hand over mine.

" Relax, baby. Our little peanut is going to be just fine and so am I. We all are going to be okay, alright? Now stop worrying, your making me nervous! I Love You." I spoke softly, smiling up at him. He cupped my cheeks and soothingly rubbed his thumbs against my cheeks.

"I am suppost to be the one calming you down, not the other way around.  I love you too, darlin. " He spoke kissing my nose.

" You don't always have to be strong Landon. It is alright for you to be scared and show me your emotions.  We are suppost to support and be there for the each other , we are in this together.  I want to help you through your hard times too. I can handle it, I am a tough cookie. " I winked, he mumbled something, but I couldn't quite hear it. I gave him a lazy smile, before sleep washed over me.
