Landon's P.O.V

It has been two weeks since Lily came home and found out her grandmother passed away. She has locked herself away in her room. I have not seen her since the memorial, since I held her in my arms. I miss her: I miss her kisses, her laugh, her touch, her smile, her eyes, her everything. I went and got tested after she left, I tried calling her all that week to tell her it was negative, but she never answered. I held her engagement ring in my hand. A small smile crepted onto my face. I don't care what happened that week, I still love her with all my heart. I was in the loft playing my quitar when the door opened. Lily walked through the door and sat down across from me. Her hair was in a messy bun, no makeup, sweatpants, and my sweatshirt.

"Hey." She whispered looking down at her hands. I put my guitar down and scooted closer.

"Hey, whats up?" I did not want to ask if she was okay, I know she does not like it when people ask her that.

"I feel better today. I felt her with me today. I am sorry Landon, for what I did to you. I never should have left you or my family. Will you take me back please." She cried, my heart broke hearing her sound so broken.

"Of course I will take you back. I love you." I smiled and slipped the ring back onto her finger, and she gave me a small smile. Something was behind that smile, I just dont know what. She grabbed my shoulders and held onto me for dear life.

"I love you so much. I am so sorry."She cried into my neck, I squeezed her closer. I will never let her slip through my fingers ever again.

"Let's go for a ride." I suggested , she nodded excitedely. She stood up but fell back down and held her head.

"What is wrong." I asked touching her shoulder, she squinched her eyes together in pain

"My head. It is pounding. It hurts so bad. " She screamed in agony. I picked her up bridal style, while she screamed and cried. Her father and mother were out and rushed over to me.

"What happened? Is she alright?" Her mother gasped and felt her forehead.

"I don't know I am taking her to the doctors. This does not seem like a normal surprise migraine. " I spoke and sat her in the truck. Her parents got in their truck and followed behind me. We entered the E.R. and they took her back.

"I love you Lily Anderson. " I whispered before they wheeled her back. Her parents and I sat in the waiting room, well they sat while I paced.

"Mr. and Mrs. Anderson." A doctor called out we raised our hand and he walked over to us.

"Is my daughter okay Doc." Mr. Anderson questioned the doctor looked up and gave us a sad look.

"I am sorry to inform you that your daughter has Stage Four Metastatic Melanoma it has spread to her brain, liver, and skin."  Everything went still. Mrs. Anderson crying into her husbands arms, while I stood there frozen.

"I am very sorry. We will do everything we can, but your daughter said she does not want treatment. Which means we can not start treatment." Why was she refusing treatment?

"Take me to her and take me now." I spoke he nodded and I followed. She could not leave me. She can't. We walk into the room and there sat the love of my life.

"Landon." I walked over and picked her up and held her. I needed to feel her, to know she is here with me.

"Why are you refusing treatment. ?" Mrs. Anderson spoke. I gently placed her back on the bed and held her hand.

"All the treatment is going to do is make me worse, make me feel like I am somewhere else. I want to be here with you all fully for the couple of months I have left." She spoke her voice wavering at the end.
