The Farmer's Daughter

Chapt.12

Landon's P.O.V

I woke up with Lily's hair sprawled out over my chest, her arms wrapped around me, and her legs intertwined with mine. I gently and lightly moved her hair out of her eyes, and kissed the top of her head. I am in love with her. I know she is the one I want to marry, be the mother of my children. She is everything. I will have to ask her fathers permission, soon. I was drifting off when the door opened, and her mother and father walked in.

"What is going on here." Boomed Mr. Anderson, Lily jurked awake and sat up quickly, scooting away from me. I peered down and noticed that I was not wearing a shirt, and Lily was wearing it. The way it appeared, it made us look like we did something that  we were not suppost to.

"Daddy, it's not what it looks like." Lily whispered with wide eyes, whenever she gets yelled at she cowers away and is respectful, and I feel the need to protect her. So I step in front of her. She puts her hands on my back, tracing circles, that make me shiver.

"Sir. It is seriously not what it looks like. I was beyond mad at my mother and all Lily did was comfort me." I spoke staring her father in the eye, I have never seen her father so angry before.

"Yeah and pigs fly. You expect me to believe that son. It looks like you too had sex. That is what it looks like. So you can get out of my house, and never come back. You no longer have a job here at the farm, you will get your last paycheck at the end of the week. I trusted you with her life, and to make right decisions, but I was terrible wrong,  You took the one thing away from her, that was meant for her and her husband. Now Leave this Instant." He boomed right in my face, my jaw was clenched and my  hands were in fists. Lily came in between us with her hands on my chest.

"Dad. We did not have sex. I promise. You have no right of kicking him of the farm. He did nothing wrong. And if you are kicking him out, your kicking me out too." Lily turned and stared at her father. I have never seen her act like this before. My body was filled with love, pride, admiration, and happiness. She was defending me, to her father, and that shows me that she truly does love me. But I could not take her away from her family

"It is O.K. Lily. I will go and let things cool down, I will be back do not worry." I whispered and kissed her forehead, and nodded to her parents before descending down the stairs, and leaving their house. Maybe for good.  I did not know where to go. I decided to go to my long time friends house, Kyle. He goes to the same church as Lil and I . I knocked on his door, and waited for him to answer. He lived here all alone. I could not help but think of Lily. I hope she was O.K.

"Hey man whats up." Kyle answered  while opening the door wider for me to enter, I took my shoes off and flopped onto his couch.

"I found out my mom cheated on my dad, and I slept over at Lily's house, and her dad barged into her room and thought we had sex cause we were both in the same bed. So here I am. No where to go." I spoke looking up at the ceiling.

"You can stay here as long as you want. "He slapped me on the back and went to go make lunch. I texted Lil

"You O.K. Baby? ? I love you. I am at Kyle's house if you need me. Love your cowboy, Landon.

I closed my phone and went into the kitchen, where I found Kyle burning chicken.

Lily's P.O.V

"How dare you kick him out. You had no right or reason too." I screamed at my father, I was furious we did nothing wrong. Landon would not let that happen, he is too much of a gentlemen.

"Do not talk to me like that young lady. You were wearing his shirt. This is my house, my daughter, my property, and my rules. You are not aloud to see him ever again." He spoke sternly walking into the kitchen, I followed dumbfounded.
