Lily's P.O.V

Today my hair started to fall out. Today I felt like I was going to die. Today is my brothers wedding. Ella was going to come to the hospital to get dressed with me. She was freaking out, she was scared of commitment but who could blame her? She had a rocky childhood with her father walking out and her mother killing herself. She had a hard life. Always living alone, but my brother was her perfect match and vice versa. I sat up when the doctor came in

"How are you doing today Lily.?" The same question everyday. The answer was always the same.

"I am in pain." I spoke and looked down at my fingers. He nodded and took notes. He came and checked all the machines.

"The cancer is getting worse. There is a surgery, but it is very risky. You could lose your memory. But, if we do the surgery and it does not work I am sorry to say there is nothing else we can do." I stared at the doctor. I have been going through this for months. This is my last option, do I want to live it while I can or try for a healthy life.

"Think about it. I will come back later. " I nodded and closed my eyes. Every time I closed my eyes I saw myself with Grammy. I heard someone enter the room. I opened my eyes to see Ella holding the wedding dress I picked out for her, but she wasn't in it.

"Ella what is going on." I asked slowly getting up, I grabbed the bridesmaid dress, but she would not give it to me.

"This is not my wedding dress. " She smiled,  I looked at her confused and sighed.

"Ella it is your wedding dress. " I smiled and she giggled and shook her head "no"  I sighed took in a deep breath. I looked up to see Landon in a tux

"She is right. It is not her dress. " I looked at him confused.

At the Church

I sat in a wheelchair in the wedding dress I picked out for Ella. The dress was perfect. It was an irvy color, it had beads all over the top, it was tight until it hit my butt and it flowed out. I had a starp that wrapped around my neck and connected to both sides of the top. I smiled as she put beautiful puprle and green flowers in my hair. They surprised me. I was planning my wedding the whole time. They surprised me.

"You look absolutely beautiful." I smiled at her and grabbed her hand

"Thank you Ella. Thank you for being the sister I never had and for being the best Maid of Honor." Tears filled her eyes and she nodded. The music started to play telling Ella it was her time to walk down. I stood behind closed doors waiting for the wedding march. I decided I wanted to walk down by myself. Show people that I am okay. Even if I did not feel okay. The song began and the doors opened. I held my bouquet of flowers and saw Landon at the end of the isle. I smiled and began to walk. I made it half way before I started to feel dizzy and weak. I stopped and held onto the side of the pew. I felt someone grab my hand, I looked up and it was Travis. He nodded letting me know I was okay. He walked me down the rest of the way and up to Landon. He handed my hand to Landon and they nodded at each other. A silent ' You better take care of her' and ' I will' The preacher began to speak. "You look beautiful" He mouthed.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of Landon Duke McClain and Lily Jane Anderson. This is a sacred right, an ancient right. As Lily and Landon plain to join their lives. It is important to understand that everyone present has played an important part in shaping their lives and continue to play a vital role in their continuing future. Thus, we are not here only to witness their vowels to each other, but to bestow our blessing . And now the couple will read their vowels." The preacher spoke, I looked away from Landon and spoke to the preacher.
