❀ Flower Shop ☾ - Tomioka Giyuu

Chapter 26

Although my conscious was weak, I could understand a few things he said. His voice was soft and quiet, as if he didn't want anyone to hear him. His voiced cracked in between his words. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't embrace him back and tell him that I was okay. Because I knew I wasn't going to be okay.

All I could do was stay there in his arms while he cried for me. No emotion came out of me. As much as I wanted to say something, nothing would come out when I opened my mouth. I was so desperate to do anything at this point. As long as he knows I'm still here.

"love." was one of few words I could hear. 

"we were supposed to get married at the flower shop, don't you remember?"

She started coughing. At first I thought she was coughing up blood. But my vision was blurry from the tears. I wiped them to find her coughing up petals of a red flower. 

I had never felt a way towards anyone then I did with Y/N. She really made me feel like everything was worth it.

"Giyuu! Let's plant them over there~" Y/N said, grabbing Giyuu's wrist pulling him to an open area in the garden.

"Hey.. you won't forget what that lady from the other day said right..?"

Giyuu was digging the soil, "..why would I forget?"

I smile grew on Y/N's face as she placed the seeds of red roses into the ground. "if I never find love, I want to marry you, Giyuu."

"That's a deal." he smiles back at her.

She watered them with the rusted watering can. They felt like they have accomplished something together. "I think I've already found someone I love though."

"Is that so?"

She laughs a bit before continuing, "yea! I really like him. I want to marry him too!"

Giyuu smiles to himself, although he wasn't completely aware, he wasn't dumb, "I'll make sure to be at your wedding then."

She continued to cough up the petals. Muichiro and Giyuu watched as she struggled to breathe. 

It stopped suddenly and a grin appeared upon her face. "I hope you keep promises, Giyuu..."

"Y/N!" Muichiro and Giyuu shouted in unison.

My fangs were gone, the marks on my face were gone. My face as changed, huh?

I lift up my hand to my eyes, they were filled with red petals. More like.. the flowers me and Giyuu grew together. 

"Yes, I do." Giyuu replied, holding Y/N's hand. 

"..."
