Chapter 8

"Tanjiro! I do not."

"Liar," he said.

"Why does everyone think this? We're just friends, actually, more like co-workers!" 

"Well in that case.. invite me to the wedding!" Tanjiro teased and ran in front of you.

"W-WEDDING?!"

"Alright, I'll lay a futon down for you, go ahead and wash up," you said.

"Okayy!"

After you ate dinner with Tanjiro, it was time for bed since you had to wake up early tomorrow for training. "Night, Tanjiro."

''Good night!"

I finished getting ready but only just now realized that i had left Tanjiro sleeping! I rushed into his room to wake him up. "Tanjiro! Wake up!"

"w-wuh..?"

"Go change, I'll have breakfast done when you finish."

I go to the kitchen to prepare us breakfast. We ate quickly so we could meet up with Giyuu in time. I'd rather not keep him waiting.

"Where are we meeting Tomioka-san today?" he asks while I'm getting my sword.

"Ah, we'll be training up a mountain for the next few days, but we'll move eventually."

I wore my regular uniform (like muichiro's). I didn't think it'd be comfortable to train in a skirt anyway. We rushed up to the mountain I had told Giyuu to meet us.

"Sorry, were you waiting long?" I panted.

"I didn't, its fine."

"Good morning Tomioka-san!"

"Morning." he said, "Let's get started."

For a couple hours we, as in Giyuu, taught and perfected Tanjiro's breaths. I wanted to help but, I was almost as inexperienced as Tanjiro. Even if I was a pillar, Tanjiro has worked harder than me, of course I was there to give them water during breaks and to cure their extreme injuries. Other then that, I just watched.  So I was just kinda there..

"(Y/N), why don't you train with Tanjiro?" Giyuu asks, seeing how bored and useless I felt.

"O-oh, sure!" I said standing up.

We all sat against trees to rest. We trained for at least 6 hours and we started at 8 am.. I was exhausted..

"Is it okay if I leave now? I made plans with Inosuke and Zenitsu today!" Tanjiro asks.

"That's fine, we'll continue tomorrow," Giyuu responds.

Tanjiro gets up, like he wasn't even tired from 6 hours of training. "I'll see you tomorrow Tomioka- san! Don't wait for me (Y/N)!"

"Good work today!" I shouted as he waved to us.

"Giyuu... I'm hungry," I said with a frown. "Let's go eat something! I'll pay for you!"

"Well, I can not refuse," he says getting up.

"Yes! Hmm, what're you craving?" I said. "I want ramen."

"Ramen sounds good," he replies.

"Yeah! Let's go to that one ramen shop near Shinobu's place!"
